Twiga House Resort [ Piscina ☆☆☆☆☆ ] Pearl Beach

Spent 2 nights at Twiga beach resort and it felt not enough. The hotel is very clean and friendly. The rooms are specious and clean . Everything perfectly cleaned, excellent service. The food is always very tasty, really excellent. Loved the swimming pool and the beach. I recommend the hotel to those looking for a place to relax in watamu.

NOTHING AT ALL.

I had the worst experience of my life at this resort. My husband and I were treated like underclass citizens at this hotel and did not complete our 5 night stay, we left. We travelled all the way from the UK. We were in Watamu for a wedding and had left the evening before and stayed with friends for the evening as it was too far to come back. In the morning at around 6am, we arrive at back at Twiga and were refused entry to the hotel. The guard said that our taxi was unauthorized to enter. This makes no sense as we were coming from a non-hotel activity and never in my life had I been refused entry into a hotel because of a cab/taxi. We waited only to be told that we had to walk from the gate (500m) to the hotel in the pouring rain. I was livid with the hotel and went to speak to them at the reception. We were met with aggression and the Italian hotel manager called the police on us. The police arrived and spoke to my husband, luckily no charges were brought. This is the worst experience of my life. We packed our things and left immediately. The Italian Manager calling the police was RACIST as she felt 'threatened' by us (both African). Not only did we pay for all inclusive and did not get what was agreed (i.e. all inclusive at this resort does not include alcoholic drinks, only water and soft drinks). This message should have been communicated, or do not call it all inclusive. ALSO THEY ONLY SPEAK ITALIAN! IN KENYA! WORST HOTEL EVER!

Let me begin with the staff! Ester was so professional and took care of our every need, the chef made us exceptional shrimp curry! The house is beautiful, air conditioned in every room and so airy! We loved the cleaning service and our rooms were spotless! Electricity was taken care of by a back up generator during blackouts. 10/10 would recommend

Very beautiful place. Services at a level far greater than the number of stars indicated. Amazing staff, always smiling, always trying to fulfill any wish, even the unspoken. It is very nice to be initiated into the secrets of the Swahili language. Everything perfectly cleaned, excellent service. The food is always very tasty, really excellent. Quiet place in all areas. Plenty of sunbeds and places on the beach and by the pool. The hotel management ensures that the operation of the hotel is always at the set level in all respects. I recommend to all!!!
