Ella Summer Leisure

Wonderful, local place to stay in Ella. It. is a bit off of the main street but still walk able to walk. The family has tuk tuks and can take you if you ask. They are super kind and helpful. The food is great and they have dogs! (Which for me is a comfort.) There is hot water and privacy. The son speaks very good english and its easy to communicate with him.

Excellent accueil de Nilmini et de sa famille. J'ai fait un cours de cuisine un soir. C'était très convivial. Nilmini m'a enseigné des mots de cinghalais, m'a appris à cuisiner un curry sur le feu et aussi, à ma demande, elle m'a appris à manger avec les doigts. Inoubliable !

J'ai tout apprécié.

La proximité de la ville est un atout! La gérante est adorable et se plie en quatre pour faire plaisir. Elle a gentiment envoyé son fils nous chercher à Ella mais quelques malentendus et nous avons attendus presque une heure alors qu’en 10 min à pieds nous serions arrivés . Petits déjeuners excellents et copieux . La petite terrasse avec salon de jardin est très agréable ! Il y a l’eau chaude 😉 Possibilité de faire une leçon de cuisine pour 4000 LKR il me semble mais malheureusement je n’ai pas eu le temps . Pour ceux qui aiment le silence, penser à s’éloigner de la ville

Malheureusement beaucoup de bruit car la route qui est très voisine est très très passante . Boule quies obligatoires! La décoration pourrait sûrement être améliorée. À notre départ le mari souhaitait nous amener en tuk tuk jusqu’à Tissamaharama. Nous souhaitions vraiment avoir un trajet assez rapide et surtout plus confortable …pour nous reposer un peu .. nous avons dû vraiment insister pour ne pas lui céder et alors il nous a amené jusqu’à un taxi qu’il connaissait … Le taxi était peu entretenue le chauffeur très sympa ; mais nous n’avons pas apprécié ce comportement

Situation proche centre ville , famille très accueillante ,scooter ,laverie ,internet,non loin des départ de randos Parfait Je recommande

Semplicemente stupendo

Booked 3 nights stayed 5. We upgraded to the larger room with a great view. Hot water, fridge, fan, mosquito net, kettle. 10min walk to town. Nilmini and her family were so lovely. Generous breakfast, lots of information for tours etc. we even did her first ever cooking class. The food was so good and such an amazing experience. You don’t get recipes so take a notebook. We also had lunch there which was so delicious. Saved us a lot of money by telling us we could take a train to Nanuoya then taxi to Nuwara Eliya rather than a taxi the whole way. They also offer laundry and tuk tuk service. You can walk from the house to 9 arches beside the railway line, 30-45mins 1 way - see pic. You’ll need to look for the concrete stairs on the right hidden in greenery that takes you up to the rail line. We also hired scooters and drove to Buduruwagala temple and Dyaluma waterfall if you’re feeling adventurous. FYI scooter hire in Ella is per day not 24hrs. They also have a new puppy called Avocado 😄😉

The family were so kind to us - we asked to change rooms as we needed more space and they fid so with a smile. They also invited us to attend a local festival with them, taking us there and back in their tuktuk. The property itself is set back from Ella making it really peaceful at night. A wonderful stay!

Geweldige lokatie, dicht bij het centrum/ trein station. Geweldige gastvrije behulpzame familie. Bezitten een tuktuk voor transport. Bieden diverse service aan, onder andere wasservice.

Gewoon goed voor de prijs. Basic verblijf.
