Huntington Highlight - Pool, Patio, Close To Beach

The property was clean, comfortable, and had enough space for everyone. The kitchen and grill in the patio were also nice. The internet was fast and the TV had some good channels.

I wish the back patio had an exterior light to help when cooking as it gets dark around 5pm.

Lovely property, perfect location for visiting family and the beach. Lots of lovely little extra touches which made it even more special. Great communication with host - messages about an issue and received a response immediately

Would have left a 10/10 rating if it weren’t for the parking. Original booking said free onsite private parking which was one thing which drew us to this property as many charge or don’t offer it. The day we arrived we received a text saying parking was available on the street outside the property which was still ok and free however over the 6 days we were there we were never able to park outside and on 2 occasions had to park on different streets much further down from the property which was a little disappointing when returning late at night and having to park and walk quite a distance to the property. Other than that thought everything else was perfect for us.

The location was great with the beach less than two miles away, a nearby Target, and plenty of dining options. Our trip to the Aquarium and whale watching tour was only a 40 minute drive to Long Beach with beautiful views along the Pacific Coast Highway. Decor is simple, not overly cluttered. There was plenty of hot water for showers. The guests in our small group that stayed in the bedrooms said the beds were comfy. Though we spent most of our time out exploring, had we decided to stay in and cook, all the amenities to do so were available. Communication with the host was a breeze.

So this was a complete last minute change of plans booking and we were very pleasantly surprised. Older but well maintained and clean house in a residential area. relatively quiet and close to beaches, shopping etc. we stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed it! Decent sized yard with BBQ and outdoor furniture + access to a small shared sun area and pool. Great find!

Very clean & comfortable. Simple decor which is great when you have kids with you.

Like the convenience it been less than 5min away from beach driving, it did have some beach stuff which was good so our family did not have to buy anything. Had plenty of towels, soap, and travel size hygiene which was cute...

Our family got in late from traveling, and the smell inside the home was horrible tried reaching out to booking who couldn't get ahold of property. Smell like cats and sewer. Been pregnant didn't help had to run to store spend money on smell good stuff. The TV in rooms didn't not work best, back room TV was outdated. Now remind you getting in late had to drive around for 30min looking for parking. Throughout our stay had to keep looking for parking. The communication from property was not the best and we had to stay due to fact didn't know we booked a no refund on the stay. So we was nervous to cancel and loose over $1400. I reached out to property to ask to accommodate partial refund/discount for all we had to deal... BE CAUTIOUS

The communication was easy, the location and convenience of the property was great, it was the perfect amount of space, plenty of amenities.

Really couldn't used some adventures for baby, high chair and crib, but otherwise we enjoyed it.

location was good, safe area. Car needed. Nice city to visit.
