Location, it is right behind the train station! It is pretty quiet when no trains are going! Also, close to the city centre. A private place with some plants and flowers! The host, Thissa, is very helpful.

It is so close to the train station that you even feel the vibration from the trains when there is a train passing, However, luckily only a very few trains pass at night I guess the host has little experience in hosting guests, We had to ask for some usual stuff like glasses and plates, even when we got the food from him. But he provided them on request.

In regards to the price you're paying, this is a good accommodation. Don't expect any great luxury, but it's a private room in one of the tourist hotspots of Sri Lanka for 11 Euro. Owner was really nice and helpful.

Very basic facilities with minimal water that comes out of shower. Advertised as hot shower but wasn’t. Bad smell due to dampness and poor ventilation in bathroom. Mattress very old and worn. Needed a good clean.

Location

The location is convenient, close to the station, but the room was very small and lacked basic amenities such as a fan. The washroom was very basic and the cleanliness was just okay. Additionally, the host was somewhat rude when we checked out late. Overall, not recommended unless you prioritize location over comfort and hospitality.
