The guesthouse is at a great location! It's just on the other side of the train station (I didn't find it too loud) and is very close to the main core area. The room is very spacious. Owner is very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay again! Thanks.

Really sweet property, set in lovely garden. Really enjoyed sitting outside in the morning and enjoying a pot of coffee. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

A little but grubby inside. The bathroom wasn’t very clean and was full of ants, we let the owner know about this and he said he would sort it.

The place super cute! The garden is so beautiful and the family was amazing! It’s in a great location close to restaurants and market.. The host helped me arrange everything I needed. I will for sure visit this place again. Thank you for an amazing experience.

It’s very cute little house with beautiful view of the small Adams peak. Sadly the inside of the property wasn’t as good:/ needs a proper scrub and fixed fan to the ceiling. The owner was absolutely adobrable and very helpful though. Made us lovely tea in the morning and offered some local fruit.

The room is very basic and the bathroom too. It need a proper deep clean and small improvement. Was ok to stay in for 1 night

The location is definitely a benefit if you want to catch an early train to Kandy. The city centre is quite close as well. The host was nice.

For the price I had 100% better accommodations in Sri Lanka. It was clean no doubt but the bed mattress was very very old and stank. The same can be said about the bathroom- needs a lot of renovation work and smelled bad (but without renovation nothing can be done about it since it is a very old house). The windows were not possible to close, there were bars but still I did not feel so safe sleeping. I would say that for what it offers it was overpriced. Also the breakfast. I did a mistake and did not ask about the price of a pancake and tea - I saw that English breakfast, tea and espresso included, is for approx. 500 Rs in the city, but it was in the end 800 Rs. I know it is a cheap for European standards but it had a very very low standard comparing with other accommodations I stayed at in Sri Lanka. Just ask for a menu and decide if it is worth it.

Great location and great host! He arranged a scooter for us and helped sorting out how to take the bus to our next destination and in general made sure we're comfortable. Really nice to have your own private terrace, and beds are very comfy.

Bathroom could use some updating, but it wasn't too bad

1 min walk from Ella railway station. 5 min walk to the city center. Food and service is good.

Bathroom is not clean and shower is not working properly. Ceiling and walls are damp. Beds are not comfortable.
