Villa Ulun Mertha - 1BR Private Villa

Wonderful quiet place with a lot of privacy close to the Ubud centre. Great breakfast and a great host that helped us a lot to make our stay pleasant.a

The property was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The pool at the villa was beautiful. The breakfast was delivered to the property each morning by Yanwas. The breakfast was very tasty and well presented. Wiyam and Yanwas were extremely kind and helpful, they couldn’t do enough for you. The other staff we also met related to the property could not be faulted. We visited the cafe they run ‘Bubu Warung’. The food was delicious and extremely good value.

It would be nice to have an umbrella for the sun beds so that you can sit under shade.

Very comfortable and serene garden villa in a quiet area of Penestenan amongst the rice paddies. It is however a 10 minute walk to the main road to catch a Gojek and a little isolated. But that's kind of also the point of staying out of the main strip.

Comfy bed, spacious and cool bathroom. New and functional AC. Garden looks like in the pictures Pool has 3 small fountains that run 8am to 6pm and give a nice background noise. All communication to the manager via WhatsApp, and one of the staff lives just next door to take care of everything. Stable and good wifi. New TV. This rental has 2 private villas next to each other. No1 (the one we had) seems more spacious. Only downside: 10min walking to a proper roads where cars can drive. Because the roads to go to the villa are not just narrow, but not that even - renting a scooter you'll need to be a confident scooter driver.

We 1000% recommend this villa to everyone. The staff were the best we have come across, the villa is very well set up and very beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect for our needs (Penestanan is not in central Ubud). We look forward to staying again. It really was perfection.

The place is clean and it has all the facilities we need, staff are extremely likable and they accommodate all of our requests. We tried different items for our 3 breakfasts and they were all delicious and fresh. Despite the location being a bit far from the main road, you can get services delivered easily (food, drink, even massage). As the villa is surrounded by rice fields, you will be waking up everyday peacefully. Oh yeah, the bed is really comfy too. Highly recommended.

A bit far from the main road, if you don't know how to ride a scooter then it will be quite a distance walk (roughly 10-15 minutes) since cars would not be able to get in.
