Junjungan Serenity Villa & Spa

The pool area was good and front sitting area/reception good. There were nice rice field to look at and water features.Clean and tidy. Friendly staff and very helpful.Basic breakfast set menu.

Honeymoon sweet. Squeaky bed. Basic bathroom. Restricted courtyard. Not enough privacy and room is built onto front access reception area and kitchen so you can here other noisy guest . Room Very close to road. There was nothing quite about this place due to a constant stream of motorcycle traffic passing by most hours of the night. The day Spa was closed for renovations and I was only made aware on check in and given and apology. Overall It's quite basic, clean and priced accordingly. I would not stay again personally

Breakfast choices were very nice. Staff service is friendly. Quiet and peaceful far from town center. Very big private villa.

Lack of amenities. The bed frame makes sound when you just turn over or climb up. Light switches are too far from the bed. No rack to dry our wet clothes or swimsuits outside. The amount of mosquitoes is crazy. Even with repellent and the mosquito netting, still getting a lot of mosquito bitings.

Management and staff were so welcoming and kind and went above and beyond during my stay there. Food is delicious, the poolside is so luxurious with the view of rice patties and the jungle, as well as beautiful villas with comfy beds and well equipped bathrooms. Happy to help with any questions and advice on where to go and they offer to sort out your first taxi fare each day. Other extras ordered there that I recommend is the spa and massage therapy and tours/ activities available to book. Highly recommend and will definitely come back for much needed rest and relaxation again in the future.

The pool in front of the jungle is definitely a winner, and the rooms are just so beautiful! We had the view on the rice field and they would bring us breakfast to eat with the view, just fantastic.

It's not so central so you always need a driver or a scooter, but there are very good solutions for that - one should just be aware.

I liked the friendliness of staff. They were attentive and always eager to help I liked the pool area and bathtubs in the bathrooms. Relaxing environment to enjoy your holiday in an idyllic setting.
