Villa Rona 1

We stayed here for 4 nights and liked it very, very much. The villa is new, everything is beautiful, neat, and extremely clean. Everything is well thought out: different lighting options, a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of cooking utensils, even a water dispenser with cold/warm/hot water, a drying rack for clothes, separate towels for the pool, and even the option to turn the pool off at night so it doesn’t make noise. The bed is very large (about 2 meters wide) with a comfortable medium-firm mattress. In fact, this was the first place in several months where we truly slept well—there are no blinking or glowing devices in the room (you just turn off the TV and that’s it), and the blackout curtains provide complete darkness and quiet. We slept with the door open to avoid using the air conditioner, and it was quiet until 7 a.m. We also used the laundry service—they washed and even ironed our clothes perfectly (2 kg for 30,000).

Continuation of the review — We would also like to highlight the breakfasts: very tasty and varied. The system is convenient—you can message the host on WhatsApp in the morning with your order and either come to their warung (about 15 meters away) or ask to have it delivered to your villa. You can also just walk in and order on the spot and wait about 20 minutes—whatever is more convenient for you. We usually went to the café since it’s so close. You can choose from the menu. It seems like the whole neighborhood eats there—the food is very good and the prices are reasonable. We also had lunch or dinner there almost every day. Some reviews mention that the location is far, but that’s not really the case. In Ubud, you need a scooter anyway, so going a couple of minutes uphill is not a problem. The same applies if you use taxis—it just takes a couple of minutes longer. Many thanks to the family for our wonderful stay. Everything was good

It was lovely. Staff were wonderful.

It was not easy to walk into town, and the alleyway in and out from main road was tiny and a bit scary

Private Villa located beside rice fields, with walking paths linking arterial roads. Despite construction next door, Villa was comfortable, and generally quite peaceful. Water bottle and free WiFi provided for guests, and a Warung very close by with basic food options. Better food options available within close walking distance.

Property is not accessible by car. While it is only a short walk from the main road, the path itself is rough in places. Definitely not a deal breaker, however the weight / amount of luggage you're carrying needs to be considered when booking this accommodation.
