Villa Mewali

There is truly nothing negative to say about the villa. The value for money is excellent, and many restaurants are within easy walking distance. The housekeeper prepared a great breakfast every morning. Steve, the owner, organized our transportation, and we even booked our driver for a day trip to a water temple and rice fields, which I can highly recommend. The prices for both the transport and the tour were very fair. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Yoga was an excellent host. The breakfast was awesome, and the villa itself was beautiful. It was nice to have drinking water and washing machine. It was close to restaurants.

Some of the towels were worn and needed replacement. There were too many mosquitoes and kids got many bites despite applying insect repellent and using mosquito incense. No shampoo was offered.

La villa è dotata di due ampie camere (una matrimoniale e una con due letti) entrambe con bagno privato di notevoli dimensioni e cassaforte. Piscina privata davanti alle camere. Cucina e sala di fronte alla piscina. Ottima struttura. Leggermente fuori dal caos di Ubud (15 minuti massimo a piedi). Grande il nostro mitico Yoga, il ragazzo che ci ha accolto con le chiavi della casa e ci ha aiutati ad ambientarci soprattutto i primi giorni. Inoltre ogni mattina veniva a preparaci un'ottima colazione direttamente in casa. Consigliato.

Se da una parte essere fuori dal caos di Ubud è positivo dall'altro, può risultare scomodo a causa della difficoltà di spostarsi a piedi (praticamente non esistono marciapiedi, se non nelle principali strade) e il traffico molto caotico ed intenso non aiuta. Noi eravamo in quattro quindi ci spostavamo a piedi, con driver locali (Grab, taxi o privati). Abbiamo anche provato l'esperienza motorino... ma bisogna essere piuttosto scaltri alla guida.

De hygiene en alle faciliteiten in de villa. Yoga is een enorm fijne host die elke dag de villa met veel toewijding schoonmaakt, dat is ontzettend fijn. Ook doet hij enorm zijn best om een heerlijk ontbijtje voor je te maken in de ochtend. Het is ook fijn dat er een wasmachine aanwezig is :).

Yoga is the star of this show. He will meet you and help you with your bags and then he will come back daily and cook you a lovely breakfast in addition to keeping the villa exceptionally clean and tidy. The location is a twenty minute walk into Ubud and there are nice restaurants nearby. Pool is lovely after a day exploring and location is peaceful in the evening. A fantastic place to stay.

The only downside (in my opinion) was the beds are a little firm.

La villa est magnifique très propre et très bien équipée. yoga est aux petits soins. je le remercie encore d'avoir trouvé un médecin quand mon fils a été malade alors que c'était son jour de congé.

Le lit double est beaucoup trop ferme ce qui le rend inconfortable mais bon c'est subjectif ! Dommage que nous n'ayons pu profiter du petit déjeuner excellent qu'un seul matin, nous partions trop tôt pour les excursions.

Bien situé pour profiter de Ubud sans véhicule, la villa offre un grand confort au calme. C'est le meilleur logement que nous ayons eu. Chaque jour Yoga nous a préparé un excellent petit déjeuner. Menage fait tous les jours. Beaucoup de possibilités autour pour se restaurer le soir mais tout est équipé pour se faire la cuisine soi même si on le souhaite. Distributeur d'eau, machine à laver à disposition.
