Mlodge - Luxury Mountain Retreat near Sognefjord & Flåm

The view was amazing

Cute but compact, especially when using the sofa bed.

The property is at an amazing location at Sogndal on the mountain. We rented a villa, which was huge with 6 bedrooms. It looks like it’s newly built with great decor and had a modern look. They have shuffle board and board games. We only stayed for one night but wished we would have stayed in the area for two days. I stayed at many American cabins, at our home in US but this one was top notch

New and gorgeous villa, beautifully designed, high end and well stocked kitchen. Amazing view. Comfortable beds. We had a fabulous time and wished we had booked a longer stay.

The bedrooms are on the smaller side, especially the downstairs bedrooms. We enjoyed to common areas so it wasn’t much of a problem. When we arrived the villa was very warm, over 30 degrees. We opened all windows and it slowly and gradually cooled down but it took a while and only the living room has air conditioning.

All facilities, Nice location and very cozy.

We had the car charging overnight and the owner wasn’t responding to our calls the next day. Basically we had the car blocked there for 2hours and we couldn’t reach him to unlock the charging port so we couldn’t leave on time. We left right before the checkout time limit… all because he was flying somewhere and only he had access to the app

We did not get any check-in info until we asked about it. Also the beds were not made.

The Lodge is modern and well-decorated, and the appliances are modern and new. The Mlodge is close (29 minutes) to the Flatbreenhytta trail that we wanted to hike.

The apartment is way more compact than I saw in the photos (that includes the whole house) I did not expect all, but a little more room, since the building is big. The little apartment is really tiny for three people. With a lot of rain, we had to stay home one day and it was difficult.

Beautiful view, separate cabin.

No fence on the terrace, need to be careful with kids.
