Die Villa mit dem wunderschönen Garten und der fantastischen Aussicht ist eine Oase zwischen großen Hotels, in der man sich wirklich entspannen kann. Es war ein traumhafter Urlaub.

Comfortable vila in beautiful gardens. Views from terrace are great! Absolutely everything you need for a self catering stay. Plenty of options for restaurants, and a supermarket and bus route nearby. Need to have relatively good fitness for hills! Friendly and helpful owner. Highly recommend if you prefer a private stay.

A beautiful place to stay in Funchal. Lots of character, stylish furniture, very clean and comfortable with all we needed for our holiday. The garden is a paradise we could have spent all day in, we loved sitting in it and watching the sea. George is a great host, very helpful and responsive. We were in Madeira for sea swimming and hiking - there are great sea swimming spots, two (free to access) nearby, one through the tunnel. It’s a good location for being collected by any excursion and right next to the green bus line and airport bus.

The best place to stay in Funchal in my opinion. We particularly enjoyed the lounge in the garden overviewing the ocean. The promenade is nearby, there are also lots of good restaurants in the area. The marina is farther away, but easy to reach by bus or car. The apartment had all the amenities we needed.
