Everything was great, the location, the view, the luxurious villa. Mr. Wayan the manager took care of everything very well. Great food and spa services provided by Kelusa. Would definitely recommend staying here and not missing villa kelusa if in Ubud.

Breakfast The breakfast was extraordinary. The team asked what local fruits we enjoyed and sourced exactly what we requested from the market. We had beautiful seasonal fruits like rambutan, mangosteen, papaya, pineapple, and other incredible local produce. Everything was fresh and organic from the local market. A private chef prepared breakfast each morning, including eggs cooked exactly to order, and we could adjust the menu daily depending on what we felt like. It was consistently delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Location The location is exceptional. The villa overlooks stunning rice paddies surrounded by jungle and forest, creating a peaceful and beautiful setting. The sunrise and sunset views from the property are unforgettable. The villa itself is lovely, with very spacious rooms and plenty of room to relax. There are two separate villa buildings, which is great because you can rent just one side of the property (which we did) and still have your own private pool. If you rent the entire property, there are two private pools. The pools are large and inviting, and there’s also a beautiful grass area for relaxing. The grounds are incredibly well maintained and the entire property feels like a sanctuary. It’s located in Kelusa Village, about 25 minutes from Ubud, which makes it easy to visit without dealing with the busyness of Ubud itself. Kelusa is extraordinary in how clean, peaceful, and well maintained it is. The local community clearly takes great pride in caring for their village, and it adds to the special feeling of staying here. The villa also provides a private car and driver, which makes it very easy to go into town, visit temples, or explore the area whenever you like. Staff The staff are exceptional. YM, the facility manager, has been there for many years and I’ve known him for over a decade. He is incredibly committed to making sure your stay is perfect. He checks in regularly and is always available via WhatsApp for anything you might need. O

We stayed at Villa Kelusa for three days and our expectations were absolutely exceeded. The extraordinary beauty of the place and the friendliness and dedication of the people at the villa were simply indescribably wonderful. Everything was just perfect: the food, the service, the Villa itself, the library ... I could go on for hours...

There was nothing we did not like.

Die Villa ist wunderschön. Tolle Aussicht. Ruhig. Schön eingerichtet. Schöner und grosser privater Infinity-Pool. Das Team ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Team hat mehrmals für uns gekocht. Das Essen war wunderbar. Das Team hat sogar einen Geburtstagskuchen für unseren Sohn organisiert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Villa ist gut gelegen, um viele Sehenswürdigkeiten rund um Ubud zu erkunden. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke an Wayan und das ganze Team.

Nichts

Wayan, the host, was very present and responsive. He and his team did everything to make sure we had a pleasant experience. The house was HUGE, super beautiful, and the view to the valley was amazing. Our family utterly enjoyed our stay, and I highly recommend.

The rooms are a little moldy but I guess most fully enclosed accommodations in Bali cannot avoid that.

The setting, facilities, staff and comfort were just off the scale. Everyone from the gardener to manager were so friendly. Nothing was to much trouble. We stayed 5 nights, I wish we stayed a little longer, so much to do and see locally.

It was all excellent, no complaints or improvements needed. Wished we stayed there longer

Villa Kelusa is located in the most breathtaking setting, surrounded by nature and rice fields. We were lucky to visit during the rice harvest, which made the experience even more special. The staff were truly amazing, they took us on a guided hike, explained the harvesting process, and shared stories about the local village. You can enjoy both lunch and dinner at the villa, and the food was exceptional in both quality and presentation. The service was equally outstanding. The villa itself is unique, serene, and unforgettable! Every detail feels special. We loved everything about our stay and cannot recommend Villa Kelusa enough. A truly spectacular experience!
