Ancient Gardens Guesthouse & Botanical Gardens

The property was an unbelievable place. The room was incredibly clean and the gardens were absolutely stunning. Our host was fantastic and the property that he has created is stunning. I cannot recommend enough that you do a minimum of a two night stay.

The was absolutely nothing that we didn't like about the property- apart from the fact that we only had one night there. We will definitely be back to stay longer.

There is nothing less than perfect

There were so many things to love about here - the location is super handy to the beaches of Maroochydore / Cotton Tree AND the rural hinterland - the property is spectacular - what a credit to the determination and skill of the owners (you HAVE to see it to believe it) - the property is pet friendly which as the first-time parents of a puppy is now critical to us - the hosts were very engaging and so helpful from recommending a great local curry restaurant to sharing their horticultural knowledge We WILL be back

There is literally NOTHING we did not like here

A world class botanical experience in the middle of the Sunshine Coast. Peter, A very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate host who conducts an awesome tour of his magnificent gardens as part of your stay.

Our bed was a bit soft.

We enjoyed every minute from the moment we arrived. Peter was an exceptional host . He came back at sunset at lit the outdoor fire pit for us to relax by . We were also excited to have a tour of his magnificent gardens. One of the highlights was the night time frog tour . Absolutely sensational . The family were so happy to spend some time here in this secluded location yet only a short drive to the shops and beach. We are planning to return again soon . Thank you so much Peter

Everything was perfect

Beautiful garden settings with many paths to follow and admire the cactus, succulents and cycads. Peter, the owner, was brilliant with a tour of his prize winning gardens. He also offered anything that we may have forgotten to bring food wise etc.

The room classed as the third bedroom needs to be upgraded and not at all suitable for young children —as is not really part of main living area. More linen needs to be provided if using lounges and fold up bed for sleeping. Old soap pieces need to be removed from drawers, curtains need attention and an overall cleaning is required.
