"A place like a piece of heavens."

Our experience of staying at this place exceeded the expectations of the whole family. We traveled here as a family with 2 kids (10 & 6). We have been welcomed like visiting family. Peter gave us a full tour of the magical garden he created and was generous with his time and even gifted us some seedlings. The evening was magical as we could see all the different frogs at the pond and could experience other beautiful animals like rainforest snails and freshwater snakes (we could even hold them). This is a magical place for sure. A home away from home.

The only thing we really didn't like was leaving again..

Wonderful experience! Peter was very welcoming and showed us around the gardens, sharing history of the cycads. Very relaxing stay, highly recommended!

"Peace and Cycads"

Peter and Claire were lovely and friendly. The garden tour is a highlight. Peter is so passionate about his garden and achievements its hard not to be impressed. And what a sweet man he is! The property is peaceful which was just what we wanted.

So where to begin with this little gem. Peter and Claire are fantastic hosts the accommodation is brilliant we had a fantastic time my children made friends with the hosts grandchildren and Peter was so kind to take the kids out most evenings on a toad safari. They took time out to show us around the beautiful gardens and some of the history of the place. It's really nice to see how passionate Peter is about what he does. But in a nut shell this really is a special place and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting area

"Exceptional"

A unique experience. We spent one night in this cottage, and the only sound was the croaking of frogs. It felt like we were in a tropical forest. The next morning Mr. Peter showed us his botanical garden, which contains extremely rare plants also from other continents.

A unique experience we found by accident looking for accomodation in the area for a family event. Peter's passion for his garden has created an other-worldly like environment around his very comfortable guest house. Peter's tours were highlights, frog hunting after-dark and going with him on a tour of the garden is not to be missed! We had a truly memorable stay.
