The position is perfect. The terrace is very romantic and the atmoshere is magic. Nina is a very kind landlady and very helpful. There is also a tub where you can enjoy a wonderful bubble experience

The sea views from the apartment were absolutely spectacular. John and Nina, the hosts, were very kind and responsive. The island of Hydra itself is charming, peaceful, and full of character. We loved spending time with the many cats around the island. Before our trip, we reached out to HydraArk — a wonderful local organization that cares for stray cats — and were glad to support their efforts during our visit.

The apartment has a unique layout, with the kitchen located outside and up a flight of stairs, which was inconvenient. Only one of the two bedrooms has air conditioning. The Wi-Fi was weak and unreliable throughout our stay. We encountered a cockroach inside the house one night, which caused quite a bit of stress. We accidentally locked ourselves out (after locking the doors at night — which we learned later isn't necessary on Hydra). It took time for someone to bring the correct key. On the day of departure, the water taxi that Nina arranged was canceled due to weather. She let us know the donkey man would be coming instead in 30 minutes — but just 10 minutes later, he was already knocking on the door saying he had to leave. We had to rush out without eating breakfast or packing properly, which made for a chaotic and stressful end to the trip. To make things more tense, many ferries were canceled that day due to the weather. We were fortunate ours arrived, though delayed — but travelers should know that in poor weather, you can easily become stranded on the island.

Amazing villa arranged over several levels with fantastic views over Kamini harbour and surrounding hills from the sun deck which also has a seating area.The villa has absolutely everything you need for a relaxing stay. Nina our host was superb, professional, welcoming and quick to respond to any queries. As with most of Hydra it is a bit tricky to get to so avoid bringing large or heavy suitcases but so worth it! We would love to return.

Beautiful location, fabulous sunset. Nothing was too much trouble for Nina and John. Loved the jacuzzi/plunge pool, ideal for cooling down.

The views, the local restaurants, the local cafe... The hosts arranged for a private taxi to take us to the Villa.
