Fantastisch Herenhuis ENSEMBLE

Central location within easy walking distance of shops and bars. 10 minute wslk to the Cloth Hall and only a 15 minutes walk from the Menin Gate.

It was lovely, very clean and comfortable the beds Were excellent as was the facilities everything provided and very spacious

The house is spacious, well decorated, had everything you need, incredibly comfortable with a luxurious feel. Well placed, near the town centre, loads of free parking - just a great place to stay

Would like some mugs with handles, the small cups were very pretty but got very hot and we had our 90 year old mum with us. Some large towels would also have been nice - or a note to say that you don’t provide them. But these didn’t spoil our stay.

By far one of the best places ever. Smart TV, excellent wifi, easy access with a code communicated well prior to arrival. Beautiful accommodation, central and close to Menin gate

The cleaning company had let the owners down. It hadn’t been cleaned and was full of dirty laundry and rubbish from the previous guests. However the owners were extremely responsive and came immediately to resolve the issue leaving the place ready to use within one hour of our arrival.

This is a fantastic house, in a great location in Ypres, very close to everything and really comfortable. It felt like a home from home, not fussy or formal. Big living room and dining area, plus a sizeable dining area in the kitchen, and an outdoors enclosed area with table and chairs. Loads of room for a group, and really nice bedrooms with good bed linen. Door code worked every time. Kitchen has a good coffee maker and microwave, plus equipment for regular cooking. Hosts responded to queries really fast, and were very helpful. Parking is available close by. We just loved our time there.

We got unusually hot weather, and the triple room at the top of the house has a single bed up a ladder under the eaves which was very warm at night. But we imagine most people won't get that weather. There's no washing machine, and the hosts prefer no frying (leaving lingering smells) - all fine with us, we just used a laundrette close by and were mainly using the house for breakfast and lunch, eating out in the evenings (lots of options in Ypres). We knew from reviews that towels are small, so we just brought one each. Really, these are only little things - overall, it was great.
