The upstairs bedroom aircon wasn’t very strong so it could get hot in that room. Also, there’s some sort of mechanical sound every couple of minutes which is annoying. It’s also not that close the Canggu centre as I thought

I was really excited about using privet pool. But it was dusty and dirty. So i couldn’t use. But staff was so friendly and house was pretty good

The location was great and the staff was really kind and responsive, they tried very hard to make this a good stay for us. They communicated promptly, repaired broken cabinets and cleaned reliably. The house was very stylish.

The water pipes were running through the upper bedroom, where our kids slept. Whenever anyone in the complex (meaning neighbor houses) turned on water (sink, shower, toilet), the pipes would rattle. Day and night. That was very annoying. We asked the staff to clean the pool. The pool was only cleaned by chemicals, but would have needed a proper skimming. The concentration of chemicals was so strong, it was milky, you couldn't see the bottom of the pool and my skin started to hurt when I was in water for more than 10min. We had other villas with a pool throughout our trip and never encountered the problem. There was also a huuuuge construction side going on right and left, front and back. While this is clearly out of the hands of the landlord, it would have been nice to let us know in advance.

Our time at Canggu Escape Villa in Bali was absolutely wonderful! The villa was clean, well-organized, and provided a comfortable haven for our escape. It's essential to note that there were ongoing construction works nearby, and we agreed with feedback from other guests who mentioned this concern. Surprisingly, the noise didn't bother us much, and we were still able to relax. One minor annoyance was the presence of some dust in the pool due to the nearby construction. Though it was not a major inconvenience, it slightly affected our pool experience. Despite these minor drawbacks, Canggu Escape Villa offers a tranquil oasis amidst the surrounding construction. If you don't mind the ongoing development nearby, the villa's comforts and exceptional staff make it a lovely choice for a Canggu retreat.

We really enjoyed our stay at Canggu Escape Villa. It was very clean and tidy. Loved the ground floor bedroom and easy access to the pool area. The Day Bed was perfect. Staff were excellent (Redi and the security man - with his very cute puppy, GoGo) - both super friendly and attentive. The Villa got all day sun so perfect for lying around and relaxing by the pool.

Like others have mentioned in their reviews, there is a lot of construction happening around the Villa, but the noise wasn’t actually an issue. It just became general background noise. We put some music on and that cancelled out any construction noise. To be honest, anywhere in Canggu at the moment has lots of construction happening, so it’s almost unavoidable. It was never noisy before 8am and I can’t recall what time they finished, but it can’t have been an issue if I don’t remember.

I would only suggest that they use top sheets so people have the choice of a duvet or sheet
