Canggu Escape Villa By Island Escape

1. Designs look nice & relaxing, surprisingly the floor & tables are quite clean 2. Area is near to 3 Beach Clubs 3. Staff followed instructions and lent us umbrellas & more insect repellent. And we check-in early at 12pm as it was available.

1. Staff came in without our permission 2. Electricity ran out of credit during our 2nd night stay, we didnt know what to do as it is a private villa with no concierge we can look for. Luckily there is this guy who claims as a security helped us contact the manager & he top up the credit & electricity was up again. 3. Water runs out or bcome smaller flow halfway while showering & the sound of the water pumping is very loud. 4. Beddings have some brownish stains, mattress is a little hard, towels are also abit greyish & have a weird smell. 5. Constructions at the surrounding. Staff told us that he informed the constructions to start later after 10am. But every morning, after 8am they will start to drill & knock. 6. Swimming pool water was dirty due to the construction works. I didnt even use the pool for my 4days stay, which what i paid for was about having a private pool in a private villa. But in the end, the price i paid for, doesnt even worth it at all. For the price i could stay somewhere else better. 7. Address not accurate on google map! Our drivers cant find the way and we have to walk out to the cafe nearby to meet our drivers. Its quite a hassle. 8. There is also NO signage at the roadside showing the way for the villa, this was "feedback frm our drivers." 9. Very disapppointed as its our anniversary trip and 1st time to Bali...

- The villa wasn't ready for check-in We was arrived the villa at the exact check-in time and It wasn't ready at all.(Even they asked about the arrival time several times before) Trash was everywhere. So, We could see all the things that the previous guests had left. - Construction noise and The construction was going all the time just next to the villa and the noise started hammering my ears early in the morning. And the construction workers were starring at us all day. We had to keep close all the windows and curtains. It couldn't be a chillin' time. - Broken glasses in the pool🩸 We decided to swim on a night when there were no construction workers. And It happened I got injured from the broken glasses in the pool. OMG I stepped on the piece of glass in the pool and cut my hand while picking it up to remove it. Because there were the other friends. My hand started bleeding and I was devastated. Can you believe? Broken glasses in the pool?? We immediately informed of this to the villa manager, but nothing happen, just leaving only a word of checking. The villa ruined our holidays.

It was mentioned in another review but there’s a building site right next door and they start at 8am loud hammering, drilling, loud machinery. You really cant hang out at the villa during the day as it’s so noisy and not enjoyable. If we would have knowing this we probably wouldn’t have booked it. Once construction is finished I’m sure it’ll be perfect with no noise
