Boggy Creek - lodge with hot tub

The lodge was presented well inside with a welcome gift of prosecco and crisps and usefull kitchen items like washing up liquid, hand soap, tea towels, coffee , tea & ice . Hot tub was very warm & relaxing

Outdoor furniture is damaged and should be removed as its the 1st thing you see upon arrival. Seat cushions were damp so didn't use them . Somewhere to dry towels & wet coats would be a bonus . Brief kitchen appliance Instructions left on worktop would also help

Beds were comfortable and large fridge, but so many other things let the lodge down

Dusty light fittings with large cobwebs, jug to catch leak under sink that we knew nothing about until it flooded into floor, lightbulbs not working over three lights, patio furniture is well past decent use, huge holes made it impossible to use. Hole in storage unit has large holes, the rain got in and soaked cushions making them unusable for a while, hot tub could have been checked daily to ensure levels are correct , furniture in rooms damaged and missing drawer fronts, spare pillows have no covers making them unhygenic

Great couple of nights away! Very welcomed bottle of Prosecco on arrival. Hot tub was amazing! Definitely recommend.

Easy to get to, clean and well appointed, relaxed environment, good value for money. Owner was helpful and responsive. Amazing play area nearby and within 5 minutes of bar / restaurant.

I’m nitpicking this place as lovely. The lockbox code on the emails I received from booking.com was incorrect but a quick phone call resolved that. Struggled to find a plug or washing up bowl for the sink! Not a big issue though in the grand scheme of things and you shouldn’t let it deter you from booking this place!

Good outdoor space with hot tub

Rooms with twin bed too cramped bunk beds would of been better to give more space. Could of done with a few more utensils in the kitchen. Only 4 bowls when it caters for 6 people. Only one wine glass the other glasses were Prosecco glasses.
