European Style House

Beautiful house!! The hosts have done a great job updating the property while maintaining the original features and character. The house was super clean and kitchen/bathrooms all modern and very comfortable. Bedrooms were great - huge! Bed linen was lovely. Felt like home and not a 'holiday house'. The upstairs bathroom and bath were great. We travelled with our two teens and in laws so we were able to use the upper level and let them take the first and second floor. This meant we all had some space and privacy which was great. Location was pretty good. Our first time to Hobart so we weren't familiar with the area but it was really easy to get into town (less than 10 min drive). Close to shops and lots of restaurants and take away options too.

For a family trip it would've been good to have a TV in the downstairs living area. No big deal as we were out most of the time.

The location was very close walking distance to the main strip of shops on Elizabeth road. All the main attractions were within a short car ride (10-20min at most). The property itself it’s absolutely beautiful - historic with modern features. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was very clean and the was an abundant pint of linen to service our big group. Would absolutely stay again!

There is no TV in the main living area, only in two of the bedrooms. We are avid AFL fans so we used our iPads to watch the game in the communal spaces.

The location , for public transport and walking . Proximity to Bottle shop, cafes and iGA. The amount of rooms and beds. The kitchen and cooking facilities. Had to ask for extra wine glasses, only 4 white wine glasses , plus wide mouth champagne glasses. We requested red wine glasses and received on our first day. A coffee machine was a bonus. Luckily the same as mine, I had to do a clean on day 2. The booking and contact was efficient and friendly and helpful.

The layout confusing, the living area on the first floor only had two chairs. The lounge on the ground floor small. There were eight of us. One lady with mobility issues slept in the room on the ground floor. The bed very uncomfortable for her , with only decorative cushions and no proper pillows. We shared from our other rooms. The bed very hard. The rest of us were fine with our beds. Stemmed champagne flutes would have been lovely. Tasmania famous for its wine. People need to be aware the steps are very steep .

Great for our large family group, rooms were great size, all provisions available and super warm when we worked out the heating. Home away from home, had a great vibe. Outside area just perfect. Management assisted with our enquiry very promptly.

We couldn't find waste or recycle bins. Suggest label each condiment, we accident used the salt for sugar
