The Cave Villa

Very spacious, clean and well presented rooms. The private pool and external areas. The breakfast provided in the hotel was great and saved us from having to prepare a breakfast each day and clean up after.

Best of both worlds: a private apartment with its own pool, belonging to a hotel with reception and breakfast service. Very spacious rooms and comfortable beds, A/C everywhere. Full kitchen allows for preparing your own meals. Perfect stay for families with children. Parking is available right in front, Matala beach is only a few minutes walk away. We stayed here at the beginning of May when the season only started, the timing was perfect for us: weather was great but not too hot, and the crowds were yet to arrive.

If anything, the breakfast was average, and the coffee there was not great. But the villas have their own Nespresso machine which we ended up using instead.

Le logement est proche de la mer et du village... quelques minutes à pied. L'équipement est très bien même pour une famille et la décoration soignée. Malgré la vie nocturne de Matala, on reste bien au calme. L'accueil et le départ sont facilités. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour !

La casa è splendida. Siamo stati benissimo. La spiaggia di Matala si raggiunge facilmente a piedi. Parcheggio comodo e colazione.

A causa del forte vento, la piscina si è riempita di sabbia. È stata pulita, peraltro non benissimo, solo dopo vari solleciti. Sarebbe stata gradita anche un po’ più di pulizia della casa.
