Lovely family, superb location, great value for money, basic comfortable room, serene garden to spot local wildlife

Room smelt a bit damp but didn’t really cause us an issue

The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated! Everything was clean and the hosts offered us water and laundry service for very good prices. Overall the hosts were incredibly kind and helped us whenever we asked but also let us do our own thing. As two women we felt very comfortable and safe here.

this is a hidden gem! price is 12£ per day, totally worth it. you have a lot of privacy and a private garden too. kitchen is small but works great. We initially came for 3 days and stayed 3 days more - thats how good it is the place. The host is always bringing us some fresh juices - avocado, fresh orange etc. and also is very attentive without being intrusive. the lady cleaned our room every 2 days so thats also nice. And beach is very close! only 4 minutes walk. I love this place! BONUS: Also wifi is better than in a lot of houses here in Sri Lanka.

I have just had a wonderful stay at Yunal's place. It is a family run place and the family is so lovely, they were so welcoming and helpful throughout my week long stay. The room was super comfortable, it was quiet and I slept really well. A stove, cooking supplies and fridge were provided so I could cook my own food. Location was great, a short walk from the shops and beach. I highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting the area.

The stay was very nice! The room was spacious and the hosts were always ready to help. It was located in between some trees which helped manage the heat :) 100% recommend!!

Great place in Hiriketiya but quiet and not too close to clubs and bars. Owner is super friendly and helpful. Kettle and fridge in room. Good value for money.
