The Divine Villa

It is an outstanding accommodation. Very beautiful and stunning views. Lovely clean rooms. Beautifully de decorated villa. It is close to the beach with a tuk tuk and we loved the hospitality of the staff and owners. Will surely get back!

Absolutely incredible property with the most lovely staff! The staff helped us with anything we needed and were so kind to us and our baby. We stayed in a villa that was separate to the main house which was perfect for our little family. Oh and the food that the manager made was the best food we had in Sri Lanka! Have the chicken curry for dinner!

Super friendly staff, high quality food and the Villa is fantastic. Located on the hill, with super nice view from the infinty pool. The villa is built and decorated with eye for detail.

Everything was Perfect.

I stayed in this villa from November 11th to November 25th, 2024. Upon leaving the hotel, I discovered that $3,000 had been stolen from me. I immediately called the owner of the villa, who did not help me in any way. His manager came in, who had the key to the safe. The two of them convinced me that the police would not help me in any way, but I still turned to the police and the embassy for help. The manager was detained, there was a trial, which was postponed to July 2025. I have all the evidence. The owner of the villa hired two expensive lawyers for the manager and refused to help with the investigation. The photo was taken in the Cozy room, where we lived and were robbed.

Nothing. I didn't like everything because we were robbed here. The owner replied to my previous review and this is a lie, the court session was postponed to July 2025. The court's decision has not been rendered yet. The robbers continue to work in this villa. He claims that he has an excellent rating on Google, but this is also a lie, he removes bad reviews! He also claims that he had a lot of Russians, but he treats Russians badly. Know this and don't believe him. A good villa owner would have conducted an internal investigation and helped find the robbers, and would have given the stolen money to the affected customers. We offered you to hire a lie detector and pay for it, but you didn't say anything in response. This means that you are with them for the same thing. It doesn't matter when and where your business was registered! You have not contacted us in any way since November 25th to solve this problem. We thought for a long time and made up this answer, full of lies.

Breakfast was generous with 2 choices: continental and 'local'. We only went for the continental which was very nice: fresh fruits, fresh juice, slice of delicious bread and eggs + sausages.

The Divine Villa is extraordinary! Staff were incredible, food was lovely but the environment was even more exceptional. It was the most amazing 4 days we had with 8 adults and 8 teenagers. We almost didn't want to go out and do activities because we didn't want to miss any time at the villa. Each room is just exquisite. Staff were so happy to accommodate any of our requests, including shifting bedding around so some of the teenagers could be together. The pool was amazing, as was the gym. Lastly, the view was simply breathtaking! I really hope we can visit again one day. Couldn't recommend any more!

Absolutely amazing place, the owner and the stuff. As soon as we entered we saw the message "Divine will show you the way". And Divine is really perfect name for this villa. Amazing view, fantastic nature, smiles everywhere. Every detail, inside and out are amazing. It is really hard to pick something and say "ok, this is amazing", because really, everything is. We are going to come again, for sure.
