A quaint villa which brought back childhood memories of my grandparents home. The decor was very well done. Very handy to Gore where we were spending our time. Communication was great, Check in was easy and a very warm home and hostess greeted us. We couldn't have asked for more.

The property was quaint and quirky but had everything we required to make our 4 night stay extremely comfortable. We would certainly stay again. We were able to prepare meals, do our washing and hang it on the line to dry. Heating was available for chilly nights and mornings. The location makes it a good spot to travel to larger centres and enjoy the quiet of a more rural location. The wine and chocolates were a nice touch. If you were a larger group or family the 3 bedrooms would come in handy.

"Wonderful stay, will stay again if in the area"

Booked accommodation for staff. Communication with hosts was wonderful we were even able to extend the stay. Would recommend to anyone needing to stay in the area.

Didn't find anything we didn't like about the property or our stay.

"good location to explore this area of the South Island"

good location for exploring The Catlins. the house was clean with a new shower room and well stocked kitchen and nice garden space at the back.

The proximity of the railway line was a bit of a shock but soo. got used to it.
