Beautiful view, quiet neighborhood, gracious hosts, clean, neat, house was well stocked and what was promised was delivered....and them some. Owner even gave us a half dozen fresh eggs from her chickens.

Excelente! Fica num lugar muito calmo na Calheta. A casa está muito bem equipada. Tem onde estacionar o carro. Tudo óptimo. O Jorge foi sempre muito atencioso. 5 Estrelas.

Magnifique grande villa très bien équipée. Piscine incroyable, chauffée. La vue est somptueuse. Il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin et même plus en équipement de cuisine, linge de lit, serviettes… Jorge est soucieux du bien-être et de la satisfaction de ses hôtes, il est réactif et donne de nombreuses informations si souhaitées. Séjour exceptionnel, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Les matelas sont vraiment fermes (proposer des surmatelas serait top) mais sinon tout est vraiment parfait.

Sehr schöne, modern eingerichtete und großzügige Ferienvilla mit privatem Pool und toller Aussicht. Das Haus bietet viel Platz und ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Die Terrasse bietet ebenfalls viel Platz, sonnige, schattige und windgeschützte Plätze. Die Liegen sind bequem. Der Pool hat eine gute Größe und eine sehr angenehme Temperatur. Der Ausblick bis zum Meer ist toll. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Die Straße ist zwar etwas entfernt, aber durch den Hügel, den sie hochgeht, hörbar, wenn man draußen ist. Es fahren dort nicht so sehr viele Autos, uns hat es nicht sehr gestört, aber wenn man vollständige Ruhe wünscht, wäre das zu bedenken. Wie wahrscheinlich vielerorts auf Madeira, ist nichts fußläufig (bis auf eine Bar, die man - wenn man bereit ist auf der Straße zu gehen - erreichen kann), egal wo man hin will, man muss das Auto nehmen.

The villa was one of few available with a private swimming pool, which was nicely heated with the bonus of a built-in jacuzzi. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the BBQ and outside seating areas great for family meals. Both bedrooms are spacious, with lots of storage and the showers are wonderful. Above all else, the views are fantastic, with beautiful sunsets. Nearby, the local 'Tiki' bar is fabulous for a cocktail, or two and the beach (praia da calheta) perfect for children, with parasols, showers and ice cream. There is lots to do on the Island, from cable cars, tropical gardens, to natural swimming pools and even a banana museum. Jorge, the host was extremely friendly, providing lots of suggestions for activities, even helping pay a parking ticket, when we couldn't fathom the website!
