GBLocation, the hosts provided a lot of considerate things and gave good advice (we needed extra firewood)!
The parking lot surface/entrance could definitely be improved though I imagine this is a shared entrance and not really in the hosts control.
GBPerfect place with a Perfect price.. cottage was very clean stunning looking and that log fire was absolutely great..pub up the road called the miners standard which is great.

GBThe cottage had that cottage feel. Wooden beams, comfy, a working fireplace, all the little things. The car box in the bathroom, the little kitchen bits you might forget, and the most amazing views.
The driveway is a bit difficult to find, but the main issue is the entrance of the driveway. It has a big curb of mud and a low car might struggle to get up it without hitting the front splitter, and our car kept slipping in the mud. Maybe make it a concrete driveway for better entry and under foot conditions in the wet.

Everything was great. No bedding for sofa bed (although we didn’t look super hard) Could do With a deep clean. But on the surface it’s totally fine
GBNothing, we could not reach the property and the owner did not show any empathy when we could not find it, and wouldn't help us find it any further when giving us idiotic instructions.
Everything about it, couldn't find it and given terrible instructions to reach address, a address woth house number/name and postcode and road name should take you within the vicinity of a property, not a random field and no clear sign post for the property.
