Mirissa Gold Rush Villa

It’s really spacious, clean, you are away from all the typical tourists and party, you can sleep properly and wake up in the nature, you have a big terrace, you can wash and hang your stuff, the bathroom and the shower pressure- soo good! The Wifi is the best one we had in Sri Lanka so far! It’s safe and you really feel comfortable staying at the accomodation! No insects like cockroaches or anything that scares the agit out of you. You will enjoy ur vacation very much :)

Really nice owner. Clean rooms!

The Villa is very clean with two bedrooms, a big kitchen, a big bathroom, big living room and a nice garden. The Tal Aram beach is just 5 minutes from the villa. There you can snorkel with sea turtles. The Mirissa beach is 5 minutes by bus which goes every 5 minutes during the day. Samir is a great host who helps you with everything. We could borrow his BBQ, he brought us to the hospital in matara when our son hurt himself. We felt very comfortable and can definitely recommend this place.

Exceptionally clean and well maintained room and bathroom. New AC and Fan. Kitchen for simple cooking and a washing machine is just great to have. Host was super helpful and nice!

Everything was very clean, beds comfy, kitchen well equipped, and in a nice calm location. The owner was extremely nice and went out of his way to help us out with everything!

Room cleaning

Sameera is an excellent host. The place was impeccably clean on arriva and he emptied out the bins everymorning. Upon request, He organized snorkeling with turtles at a dive operator down the road and dropped us off with his tuktuk. I also asked him to organize a fishing trip for my husband's birthday and he informed us that we would have a beach party that night to celebrate and cook the fish we caught. Unfortunately, it rained that evening, so Sameera brought the party to the villa. It was an incredible day. The upstairs is now finished and is a separate 4 bedroom unit all en-suite with air conditioning. We stayed downstairs, which is a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom unit, beautiful tile floors throughout. Perfect for a family of 4. The downstairs did not have air conditioning however with the tile floors and ceiling fans we were more than comfortable. The garden and patio is a well maintained, beautiful spot for meals and relaxing outside. There is also a Washing machine in the outside storeroom which made life easier and more comfortable. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Beautiful place at an amazing price
