Mima's Village Cozumel

For us, we absolutely loved this place. It was far away from the tourist zone that you can enjoy Cozumel to yourself. To get around, you really do need a car or motorcycle if you plan to eat out. We ate in and cycled around to where we needed to go. Snorkeling out front is great! Amazing sunsets

Other rooms here had a full kitchen but for us the room we booked only has a microwave. It would be good to have an electric stove so we could cook basic things like eggs.

Right on a nice stretch on coastline. There is limited resources near though. Also it is located on a one way road which makes traveling more difficult

personal touch, the other people staying on the property were a delight, the property manager was super helpful and available, great location to jump right in the water and snorkel! Miss it already

Could have had more furniture in the room... like a set of shelves to put clothes on, a couple more hangers, some shelves in the bathroom to put stuff on, would have been nice to have a sponge to clean dishes

We stayed in the studio. The location is great if you have a car- or take a taxi. Small well equipped kitchenette (no sink), fluffy towels, both a/c & fan. Fresh drinking water provided.Pool on site.Mimo is a great host.

If you want to get away from the touristy part of the island it is the best place, calm, just across the street there is wonderful snorkeling, cool beach club, everything you need. The host is amazing help with everything you would wish for diving, snorkeling, car renting. There are bikes free of charge in the area.

The room has no window and there's no place to hang outside as people from the other rooms think this area is a part of their rooms.

Lovely quiet location for snorkelling. Mima was around a lot to help with any problems.

Room was not very clean. It was located at the back with no view and nowhere to sit outside. This wasn't clear in the photos. We had to wash the dishes in the bathroom. The front rooms looked spacious and had an outside area with table and chairs. They looked nice but I wouldn't recommend booking the back room.

I did my homework and knew this was not going to be fancy. I was still a bit uncertain what I would find because the price was so great. I was very happy to see that the room was very clean, had all of the things I wanted (fridge, microwave, coffee maker) and was very comfortable. The pool was small but very nice and a great place to cool off before bed. We didn't have a view from our room but all we had to do was walk to the front to be right across from the ocean. We rented a scooter for most of the days but it was just a short walk to Bahia de Uvas Beach for good food at reasonable prices, snorkeling and taxis available.

The only problem we had was the TV sound didn't work and the remote might not have been programed fro that TV. Maybe just a bad wire. Not a deal breaker at all, we just sometimes like to watch the local news or a movie if we are worn out from a day of fun.
