Villa Helios

We enjoyed our stay. The villa is nice and has a lovely view. The walk into Elounda is pleasant and easy. There are a couple of restaurants and a bar within a couple of minutes, and the rest of Elounda is about a ten minute downhill walk away. (We easily got a taxi back each evening for about 6 Euro, although the taxis didn't get us quite all the way back to the villa).

The biggest problem for us was that the property next door is being refurbished, and so there was building noise on and off every day during our stay. It was a peaceful spot when quiet! The villa is missing a few things. We would have liked a toaster. The sun is on the terrace all day until about 5:30, and although in the afternoon you could chase bits of shade, the villa would benefit from having a parasol. There was only one glass large enough for drinking a beer or can of soft drink. There needs to be a welcome pack with basic information like how to connect to the internet. Also....just saying....the other three villas that we have stayed in in Elounda had a few basics like water in the fridge when we arrived. All that said, we did enjoy our stay.

Just WOW! An absolutely amazing stay in this beautiful villa. So comfortable with a wonderful view. Our villa host was so helpful and friendly thank you so much - will definitely be back.

Fab villa for 4 people . Great location and pool & view area

Air con could of been better in the bedrooms ! No safe. Better directions for taxi drivers needed as there is another villa nearby with the same name & despite giving better directions ourselves we were very late getting picked up . Otherwise loved it! Very secluded & private

The description did not disclose the very steep drive to the property and where to safely park. There was no paper towel and basic small kitchen appliances were missing (toaster, coffee maker).

The villa is fabulous with everything that you need. The host was very attentive and answered any questions immediately via whatsapp with great local information. The view though is spectacular as well as the pool, the comfy beds and chairs overlooking the sea. Thank you so much we had the best holiday ever. Oh and there is a few little bars just a few 100 yds down from the villa on the right, which is also the small road that takes you directly into Elounda itself.

Great location, nice views and peaceful. Nice walk into Elounda with a great taverna, Panoli 2 mins walk away. Plaka beach is our fave spot but also visited Sitia and Mochlos and Myrtos. Villa was very well cleaned and nicely furnished.
