Villa Belvedere

We stayed at Villa Belvedere between 23 Aug and 30th Aug. We arrived an hour earlier than arranged however Pietro the owner gladly welcomed us onto the property. After giving us a tour of the accommodations and the facilities we settled in. The villa and its facilities are amazing. The large main kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to prepare meals. There is a beautiful area with a large bbq, large table covered by grape vines, lime and olive trees. We spent many evenings there grilling meat on the coals and sharing the great wines available locally. As a keen cook one of my favourite things about the villa was being able to walk around the grounds to pick tomatoes, chillies, limes, grapes, aubergines, parsley and lemons to prepare meals for my family and friends. The pool area and seating are perfect. The sleeping areas are comfortable all with air conditioning. The villa is located close to the beautiful Ostuni, roughly a 15 minute walk to the edge of the town, however we found it easier to get taxis there and back. Pietro is such a kind host. Although we had to use the translate app to communicate anything he couldn’t do enough to make our stay a pleasant one. We had asked him where we could buy some specific pottery to take home with us. Later that day he turns up in his car and drove my wife and I miles away to a shop where we bought what we wanted. On our check out day our flights did not depart until late in the evening. Pietro let us stay free of charge with use of one of the rooms and full use of the pool. For these kind gestures we will never forget him. The villa is fabulous and beautifully kept. The apartment was comfortable, clean and had great facilities - we particularly loved the coffee machine! Despite the rainy weather we had a fabulous stay and Pietro was a wonderful host who was very kind and quick to respond to any requests. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Prachtige villa, tot in de puntjes onderhouden. Ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaren die je echt thuis laten voelen. Het zwembad is schoon en erg mooi. Het appartement heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en is ook super schoon. Met de auto slechts een paar minuten naar Ostuni.

Beautiful villa ideal for large family group. Loved the outdoor space with lots of sitting areas. Pietro helpful and friendly. Walked into Ostuni a couple of evenings with taxi back as road up to edge of town not easy to walk along. Loved Ostuni and surrounding area

Prachtig zwembad, hoog afwerkingsniveau. Goeie bedden, ruim appartement, heerlijke douche. Schone handdoeken na een dag en een zeer behulpzame eigenaar. Vlakbij Ostuni. Net iets te ver om te lopen, maar 5 minuten met de auto.

Keuken was zeer klein en het ontbrak aan wat basis dingen zoals een snijplank en een koksmes en broodmes. Helaas ook geen Pfasvrije pannen. Is in dit deel van Italië zowiezo geen thema. De toiletbril was waarschijnlijk zo goedkoop dat deze tijdens ons toiletbezoek iedere keer bijna naast de toiletpot schoof.

Perfect spacious house at good location. Very helpful and friendly host.
