I'll start off by saying that our stay at Villa Belvedere was fantastic. We were travelling in a large group (with kids) and decided to find a place with a swimming pool and plenty of space to keep the young ones busy while also leaving room for the adults to have some space. The premise was very accomodating for exactly that. We had the whole villa to ourselves, no neighbors that we would've noticed or bothered. The bedrooms are nice and have great AC for those hot south italian summer nights. There's a fridge in every apartment. Parking is absolutely not an issue, even for bigger cars - plenty of room on the premise & all within the property fencing (there are actually beautiful green sunroofs above the parking spots to keep your car out of the sun and they worked great). TV's in every bedroom and in the living room. And most importantly - plenty of seating options everywhere (around 10 or so beach loungers at the pool, large tables with beautiful olive plank-style chairs at the BBQ, a big table with 12+ seats that we used as the breakfast table and plenty of other spots that you'd want if you're planning to hang out in comfort). Hairdryers in every bathroom, large fridge with ice cube dispenser,... Basically the place has everything you'd need for a relaxed vacation and more. The owner checks in every couple of days to water the plants and keep the garden nice and beautiful, swaps out towels and even brings fresh fruit and vegetables from his own garden on the premise. Super nice guy and very relaxed and easy going. I'm usually not the type of guy to go 10/10 on everything, but this is one of those cases where i'd go 11/10 if i could. The photos are nice but i feel like they don't do it justice - everyone of us was surprised by how much nicer everything looked in person.

I'm only listing this here because i ran out of space in the Pro's section - you'll need a car to get to the nearest beach because it's a 15-20 minute drive (and even then i'd recommend checking out Spiaggia Aquafreddo on the opposite coast that's about an hour away - there's a cold spring that flows into the mediterranean sea and it's very refreshing to sit in, especially in the warm climate down there). Being a little further away from the nearest beach doesn't really count as a Con though, we knew this ahead of time when we made the reservation and didn't mind this at all. On the plus side, you're 2 minutes away from Ostuni and the nearest supermarkets and a couple more minutes away from the old city centre.

Great location, just outside the town of Ostuni but not too far for us to walk in. 15 minutes to the closest bit and 30 to the old town. The Villa had everything we needed BBQ, Pool, Plenty of seating options, washing m/c, dishwasher etc etc. Pietro the host was on hand should we need anything.

Maybe a shallower pillow but this was a minor thing

The property is really nice, calm and very charming.

But, oh no, if your kid soil the tablecloth with butter you could be fined for a new one and the money will be taken from your credit card. We've lost one part of a fully functional coffee machine even without this part(that costs 10EUR), but the owner of the property decided to buy a new one and charged my credit card. Be very careful with that property, owner is charging your credit card....

Beautiful house with everything you need, the pool area is so great for the kids and the extras provided added a special touch to the stay.

The location and address was incorrect - we couldn’t find it using Apple or google or car GPS Maps. Lucky after driving up and down multiple times we saw the sign then pinned the address which was different to what’s on the listing.

Warm welcome from Pietro even though our flight was delayed and we were late arriving. Prosecco, water and juice chilling in the fridge, beautiful pool to relax by, quiet setting with parking and only a 5 minute drive to ostuni.

We liked everything- it was the perfect stay and we liked going into ostuni in the mornings and evenings and chilling by the pool during the middday heat.
