Kuma Beach side Villa

Lovely spot about a 5 minute walk to the beach. As others have mentioned, it is located adjacent to the railway tracks. Didn't notice any train noise at night. Very nice host family.

We had very relaxing and restful days. The room was spacious, very clean and cosy with fast Wi-Fi. The breakfast was very good. It's only a short walk to the beach. The Kuma family are very friendly and helpful hosts. Thank you very much for the days.

We stayed in a downstairs room which was spacious and had all the amenities. We were served a lovely cup of tea upon arrival. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was nice. We were passing through so we only stayed one night. The only thing was that the train thundered by right in front quite often throughout the day and evening other than that, everything was fine.

Everything! Kuma and his family are wonderful and kind people. They made our stay here amazing. The room was comfortable (ac worked great) and the breakfast was amazing! Can definitely recommend the Sri Lankan breakfasts (he also offered western style if you prefer). The location is right next to the beach in a quieter area of town, the train noises didn’t bother us at all and were mostly covered by the ac! The villa itself is a gorgeous property and we felt very at peace here.

The property is a home stay rather than a hotel. Kuma and his family were exceptional hosts. The breakfasts were out of this world. The property and the garden are beautiful. Just a five minute walk to the beach.

Kuma was a really nice host who took really good care of us. His property is absolut beatiful und clean.

The guesthouse is next to a railroad and the trains are pretty noisy.

Kuma and his wife Krishanti were so welcoming and helpful. They even helped us get our saris ready for a wedding. The food was delicious, and it was lovely to have breakfast outside while looking at the garden.
