Beautiful villa with hospitality and friendly owner and his family. Nice garden with lizards, beards and animals, big rooms and bathrooms, big bad for two adults, breakfast like continental but with local colours, lovely Wadduwa and warm Indian Ocean.

Sometimes you can meet big insects invading to the house, be careful with this

"Great first night in Sri Lanka"

Kuma was very welcoming and made sure we felt comfortable from the first minute. He offered us a nice cup of tea after our long journey and his wife even made us traditional coconut biscuits for the Christmas breakfast :) Beautiful house and lovely people! We had a great first night in Sri Lanka and a perfect start for our holidays. Next time we'll make sure to stay at Kumas place for a longer time.

Wonderful family-run guesthouse. Though the host's English was limited, we had no problem communicating and he and his family were extremely accommodating. AC worked well and the unit is quite large. Excellent value for the price.

On the west coast of Sri Lanka the train runs close to the ocean. As this home is close to the beach, train noise is inevitable. Use ear plugs if you are sensitive.

We really enjoyed staying there!! clean comfortable rooms and close to the beach. Mr Kuma and his family were very friendly and made us very good breakfast! Highly recommend this beautiful place.

Super staff and great breakfast. The room was quality, with aircon and a TV. Everything was clean and tidy. Good bathroom, nice garden, parking available for scooter. The guesthouse is close to the beach which is quiet and good for swimming.

It is close to the train tracks, but I didnt see a train, and didnt get woken up by one either.

Kuma Villa is the perfect place to rest and enjoy the seaside and even to spot wildlife!!! Kuma and his family make you feel at home. Every day you get a wonderful and very healthy breakfast with fruits, juices, local dishes, etc. We really enjoyed our time there 👌🏽
