Anahata - Tropical Private Villas

The private pool is great. Also the bathroom is really nice.

You can hear literally everything from all neighbours. Yes, you wanted to build in traditional style. But building one building right onto another is maybe less traditional. It is still a holiday. You can hear every noise from neighbours (beside music during nighttime which comes from the beach if there is a party). You overpay for extra service a lot. Laundry was IDR 35.000 / kg. We have been just asked if they should pick up our laundry for service and bring it and we have been charged a lot. You can have laundry 5 minutes walking distance away for 20.000/kg. We had laundry service in other houses in Indonesia and never been charged so much extra (regarding the high price for the Villa itself). If you plan to charge so much extra, at least say it before you offer it. A big minus is also the high price for the floating tray (IDR 150.000) for floating breakfast. It is still just a swimming basket. The staff was a bit unorganized. Sometimes you couldn't find somebody at the reception even after ringing the bell (during opening hours).

Absolutely everything. The villas are extremely beautiful and well kept. The staff was extremely helpful and the location was fantastic, 10 minutes walking from what we believe was the most beautiful beach of the island. It was really a dream. Thanks a lot to Julien and the whole staff!

We absolutely loved our stay at Anahata. It was perfectly located in the northern part of the island and felt private and peaceful whilst still being located near to beaches, bars and restaurants (also a gym which did a 3 day pass which was great for us). We were welcomed warmly and given many recommendations for the island. We tried as many as possible during our stay and we were always very impressed! Our advice would be listen to the recommendations :) The villa itself is stunning and comfortable. We loved having use of the bikes. Breakfast was amazing! Having it served to the villa at a selected time and being able to choose sweet and savoury options was a lovely touch. Other great thoughtful touches included refillable water bottles to take out with you and the option to borrow snorkels. We stayed for 3 nights on each of the Gili Islands but next time we would double the length of our stay on Gili Air at Anahata. It was just perfect! Thank you for everything. Rachel and Will

Truly nothing.

First of all, the staff is the best! So friendly, so kind, so serviable and they go above and beyond to help you with everything. The villa is absolutely stunning and idyllic. We were 3 adults and a child …. We were in paradise. Thank you soooooo much for making out stay so magical.

Food was amazing, location amazing, staff amazing, facilities amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Staff was amazing, nice breakfast brought to room and all the amenities (including bikes!) that we needed. The staff went above and beyond, helping us coordinate snorkelling, massages, transportation and even laundry.

The air con took a while to get going but worked well once it kicked in.
