Anahata - Tropical Private Villas

Beautifully set out villa, wonderful friendly and helpful staff

Bikes were provided which was excellent but they were very old and needing some repairs

Balinese feeling and private pool. Free bikes and very good breakfast.

Hot water was available after few minutes of waiting

Breakfast was good, with fresh fruit and eggs as the main options. Although there weren't any meat choices, we appreciated the friendly staff and the tranquil location within walking distance of everything we needed. We made great use of the bikes provided by the villa. The private pool was amazing, especially in the heat during our stay. The reusable drink bottles were a nice touch, allowing us to have cold water with us every day. Despite some reviews mentioning the early morning prayer, we barely noticed it with the doors closed, air conditioning, and fan on! 😊

Our stay was fantastic until our last night when we were awakened in the early hours by loud singing, splashing, and talking. Villa 1, where we stayed, is right near the front reception/house, and the noise seemed to be coming from there. The walls are quite thin, and if they hadn't been speaking French, we could have probably understood every word. It was very disruptive, and upon check-out, we inquired if it was the French manager, Julian, having a party, and indeed it was. While we appreciate a good time and understand there was a full moon party that night, managing private villas with guests paying $300 per night, we didn't expect to lose sleep due to the manager having a party. Being pregnant, this was quite disappointing, especially since we had a long day of travel ahead back to Bali, then flying back to Australia.

The hosts were so welcoming and pleasant. The arrival drink and cold towel was a really nice touch. The villa was beautiful, clean and really quiet.

Signage could be a little better getting to the property

The villas were a little paradise for us on Gili Air. Julian’s recommendations were amazing and they really made us feel at home on the island. The bikes were such a great bonus! Also the breakfast was so good, we looked forward to that everyday.

The only negative was that we could hear the neighbouring villas but it didn’t bother us and to be expected as they were not brick buildings!

is easy, but it gonna be easier if the host says you need to take a horse to arrive faster because is the place is far from the harvour

the first of 2 days we have a couple hours with no electricity and the aircondition was not the correcto for the room because it not freeze too much in the day
