Georgian Villa in Richmond on the River Swale

Where do you start with what is to like about this property?! It’s all stunningly beautiful: located in an idyllic location, the property is set in large, secluded and well-maintained grounds, by the river swale. It is a 20 minute walk to the picturesque town centre of Richmond. The property is beautifully appointed throughout. The rooms are all large and most bedrooms are en suite. The property is incredibly well provisioned in every room, especially the kitchen - diner which is full of everything you need for a self-catering large family gathering. Contact with the home owner Angela was clear, prompt and very warm. We stayed at New Year and it was just perfect for us. We found It was very good value. Thank you Angela!

Very little. As above, we found the property beautifully decorated, well provisioned and immaculately clean. The only slight thing we would have benefitted from is a communal WC. Nearly all rooms have en-suite bathrooms, so this wasn’t really a problem - it just would have been nice to have one close to the living quarters on the middle floor.

The Property, inside and out, is beautiful. Also in an idyllic setting, it was a real gem to find and great value for money. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive and we could not have asked for more.

Beautiful comfortable house. We were there to celebrate our daughter's 40th birthday. Ages ranged from 1 to 75 with 5 children under 6! Lots of room and very family friendly. The children loved the toys and the two youngest the rocking horse! Beautiful grounds for them to run around in. Beds were so comfy and bedlinen and towels were very high quality. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean Weather wasn't good during our stay but it didn't matter with such a lovely house and garden to explore Communication with the owner was good and it was nice to have Angela to show us around. Highly recommended and would love to return but will need to save up!
