Villa de Malicott

Everything was just perfect from host Ayu was lovely and very efficient, met all my requirements. It's just such a well designed villa and quiet, i felt safe as it was just me there. Enjoyed the bali villa all to myself! So lucky to experience all to myself. Thank you Aya and Widd the maintenence man for promptly coming over to help me with door and oven. Dreamy villa

I liked everything !

The property aesthetically was lovely but impractical for families.

The indoor/outdoor shared space didn’t work for us with many basic amenities missing. The villa location didn’t suit us, we had to order food for delivery.

It’s a decent location, the security guard was always so lovely and helpful.

In short, it doesn't look new like the photos, there was poor property management, uncleanliness and a lack of maintenance, including that of allowing water to burst through the ceiling onto on of the beds, which lead for an awful and not so comfortable stay. To start, we arrived early at 1pm to leave our bags (previous guests hadn’t checked out, only left when we arrived, so 1h late). We came back for 3pm checkin and our villa still wasn't ready. We had to wait outside in the heat until they finished, instead of checking in and being able to shower and unpack. Even after the cleaning they had to do repairs on the roof of one of the rooms so it was still unavailable for my friend, she ended up leaving and coming back later. Going in I saw there was no detailed cleaning, splashes of things on the walls, dirt in the corners, dead bugs and cocoons on the walls. The bath looked dirty and old. The pool is extremely dirty, has chips and wasn’t clean so we never swam in it. The floor everywhere is chipped broken and dirty as well as the walls, unpainted, not like the photos at all. The lounging area cushions were stained with what I knew to be bird excrement, and other dirt. The upholstery had zips so could’ve been changed and washed but weren't. There were leaks in the roofs, a puddle kept forming in front of my bathroom which I'd stepped in while going. Water poured onto my friend’s bed from the leak in her ceiling, her phone now has water damage, she took and sent me a video of it pouring down. The bathroom and sliding doors don't close properly, letting bugs in and made the girls on the ground floor afraid that the rat we’d seen in our kitchen might enter. Bird droppings and a dead bird were left by cleaners for 2 days. Water was out for half a day at one point. This was a birthday trip for me but I couldn't even enjoy swimming, bathing or lounging here.
