The Sanctuary - Private Pool Villas

Ruim huis, mooi en comfortabel ingericht. Ruime badkamers en een fijn, diep zwembad. Heerlijk ontbijt verzorgd met keuze uit ei, pannenkoek of yoghurt met granola en fruit, fruitsap en nog fruit separaat. Het huis ligt met 2 andere, afgeschermde huizen met een kleine receptie, dichtbij het strand (5 min lopen). De hosts regelen fietsen en elektrische scooters. Erg leuk om het eiland mee te verkennen en verschillende stranden en snorkelplekken te bezoeken. Ook vervoer van/naar lombok (taxi, boot, paardenwagen) werd prima en tegen OK tarief geregeld.

Er is geen tuintje ofzo, maar dat hebben wij niet gemist. Er is een mooi houten deck om het zwembad, bij het huis met ligstoelen en zitzakken. Zoals -helaas- overal in Indonesie zijn de weggetjes om het hotel niet altijd even schoon.

De villa is rustig gelegen, weinig tot geen last van omgevingsgeluiden. Het is een met poort afgesloten villa, met open woonruimte en beneden een afgesloten slaapkamer en badkamer. Met de trap naar boven is een tweede slaapkamer. Ontbijt wordt bezorgd in de villa. Airco en bedden zijn goed.

De villa ligt misschien wat afgelegen maar met een fiets of scooter kun je makkelijk het eiland rond.

Prachtige woning, van alle gemakken voorzien. Personeel was supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Niks op aan te merken!! We zouden zo terug gaan.

C’est un logement exceptionnel. Nous y avons séjourné 3 jours en famille. 2 chambres, 2 salles de bain. Un extérieur incroyable avec une cuisine ouverte sur l’extérieur. Une douche près de la piscine. Le petit déjeuner est également exceptionnel. Logement à 6 minutes de la plage et proche de tous les restaurants. Et que dire du service : un personnel sympathique et qui se met en 4 pour nous satisfaire tout en étant très discret. Nous aurions aimé y rester plus longtemps. N’hésitez pas si vous souhaitez passer un séjour incroyable et de sentir comme à la maison.

Our stay at this private villa in Gili Air was truly unforgettable!! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed by the kind and attentive owners and staff. The villa itself was beautifully designed—luxurious, yet relaxed—and offered complete privacy, making it feel like our own little island retreat. One of the highlights was the large and absolutely delicious breakfast served each morning—fresh, generous, and the perfect way to start the day. After exploring the island, coming back to our own private pool was such a treat, especially on those hot afternoons. The location was ideal too—just a short 5-minute walk to the sunset beach area, where we enjoyed stunning views each evening. For the level of comfort, space, and hospitality, this villa was an incredible value. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious getaway on Gili Air.
