I wouldn’t recommend this place for those with a young family. The rooms are each have their own door onto the veranda which could then lead to the pool. We didn’t realise this when we booked and it wasn’t really suitable for us with two young kids as we were worried about them getting up and wandering towards the pool at night. The pool also had very scratchy tiles in the shallow part where the kids often wanted to play. They got multiple cuts on fingers and toes from the tiles.

We really loved this amazing place. It was cosy and peaceful place to relax and enjoy holiday. The staff of Palm View Properties was helpful and made our stay felt like home. Kids loved the pool area. Warmly recommended this place❤️

Absolutely beautiful. We all fell in love with the villa and struggled to leave it! The staff were also amazing and went out of their way to help with anything we needed / any questions. I will definitely return one day.

Very comfortable property with excellent facilities. Pool was fantastic, aircon and fans in rooms worked well, great location.

The expensive baby cot (300k IDR per night) was a bit unfair as the villa has one stored. Management also were fussing about payment for the cot during our stay which was a bit annoying.

Unfortunately we had a terrible stay with our 2 young children, despite the reviews of this property. We expected something spectacular, given the photos, excellent reviews and premium price, however when we arrived the place was riddled with mould, extremely dirty and amenities had a lot of wear and tear. The bathrooms, lounge cushions and pool beds were all mouldy. The grass was overgrown and there is also a really big portion of the garden that is just a big dirt patch that can't be used. There was also a large snake in the villa, which we understand live in rural areas, but long overgrown grass would not have helped. One of the terracotta pots was smashed, and the tapwear in the bathrooms is falling apart. Soap bottles were mouldy. Floors, hammock and lounges were really dirty. We couldn't use the hammock because it was so filthy, and the lounges were also really grubby and we were uncomfortable to use. We spent most of our time away from the villa so we could enjoy our time in Gili Air. I'm sure this place would have been wonderful when it was first built, but unfortunately it hasn't been well maintained. We notified the staff who cleaned the property, but unfortunately the problems are bigger than one clean. We contacted the property after we left, but they completely dismissed us and put the onus back on us that we should have complained more while we were there - a great way for my husband to spend his 40th birthday. These obvious problems should not exist in a premium property. I'm just sorry we didn't take more photos as proof. We have stayed at other villas in Gili Air and Lombok that are much better value, cleaner and well maintained, better location and include breakfast. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone without some serious maintenance occurring.

The host was fantastic! He helped us book transfers, bikes, and trips. He was very quick to respond and nothing was a problem. He told us the best places to swim and snorkel. Thank you. The villa was a lovely respite. Lovely pool.

As with all open villas, things age quickly, so there is some wear and tear. The location is near the top of the island and the better beaches are lower down - however, we just biked to the ones we liked.

2 time there, great place to come “home” to. Great setup for couples travelling together or families.

to have an included breakfast option would be good. Need to fix the included bikes.
