Excellent on both counts

Very little could get better. The island is idyllic and the villa was perfect.

This absolutely stunning villa just off the main strip of Gili Air left you wanting for nothing! It was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed from room amenities to organising fishing trips and transport for us. Speaking of amenities, the coffee machine with freshly ground Lombok coffee was a fantastic touch, as was the complimentary bottle of Australian wine! The bathrooms were huge, and beautifully decorated, and the pool was heavenly, and of a good depth you don’t often find in villas. We enjoyed many night swims before sinking into our huge beds and enjoying a fantastic nights sleep. Thank you Villa Kayu for such outstanding care; we cannot wait to come back!

la meuleuse et la perceuse toute la journée juste à côté !!! vous venez sur Gili air pour vous reposer et décompresser, là c'était impossible! Impossible de rester dans le logement du fait du bruit et là on vous signale qu'il y a une petite ligne dans le descriptif qui prévenait qu'il y avait des travaux, cherchez bien pour la trouver ! et que ça ne commençait qu'à partir de 9h ... mais que vous avez des coups de marteau dès 8h !! vous demandez le remboursement et le propriétaire n'accepte de rembourser que 50% à ce niveau c'est de l'escroquerie

The mosque was noisy. Ear plugs were provided but one night was particularly loud for a long time due to a special day

Amazing villa with great attention to detail. The landlord left us welcome gifts to wish our family Merry Christmas and a handwritten note, which was such a special touch, thank you! The villa is really well equipped: kitchen appliances, great coffee machine, pool towels, toiletries, on par with any hotel and even better. You can tell that the owners take pride in their home and thought of every tiny detail to make the stay of their tenants enjoyable. The staff were coming daily when we were out, to clean the place. The villa felt private, in a great location with 2-5 minutes walk to the beach and many cafes and shops. Great pool and chill area around it. Massive bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend this villa for an amazing stay on Gili Air.
