Great location with very good reef for snorkelling just outside where you can see turtles and a lot of reef fish on a very nice reef. The rooms upstairs are really nice with a beautyful view and comfortable beds with mosquito nets. The room downstairs for the children smelled strange and had a lot of insects and no mosquito net. We asked for this but the staff said it was not possible. Our children got a lot of bites and also allergic reaction to some of them. On our 6 week trip in Indonesia- 2 weeks in Gili Air, they got most mosquito bites when staying at Serenity. There were also marks after bed bugs on the linen used in this room, but most likely old, but could be changed to newer ones as that is a bit disgusting. In general there was also a lot of bugs inside the villa downstairs and in the childrens room, especially millipedes and cockroaches. The sofa downstairs is covered with blankets to cover that it is run down- see photo. And cockroaches appering under the blankets when sitting there was disgusting. In general it feels like the owners doesnt maintain the villa, compared to other places we stayed. With some love it could be perfect. The villa is highly priced and its possible to get other villas that are better and half the price on the island. They market their snorkelling tour like its a special one, but in reality Mr. Fellow is just a groundhandler that use different boats and guides, and we never saw a "Serenity boat" like on the photos. Our snorkelling guide didn't even know the name of commen reef fish, and the snorkelling on the reef outside was better. They just take you to the commen places like everyone else.

See above. There are also a lot of loud music from the restaurant that is next door to the villa- sometimes till very late at night-1-2am. Photos on booking are very old and when everything was new. The chairs with the pool are f.ex not there anymore. Could vary the fruit for the breakfast. We always got the same, but changed when we asked for it.

Heerlijk verblijf met privé gelegen zwembad. Groot en comfortabel huis. Je kon zo doorlopen naar het strand en snorkelen. De schildpadden kon je makkelijk vinden. Heerlijk ontbijt en wordt goed schoon gehouden. Bij Yanti kom je voor bijna alles terecht. Dank!

Excursie viel wat tegen. Het snorkelen kan net zo goed meteen voor de deur gedaan worden. Wifi kon ook net even wat beter.

Villa with an excellent location, right by the beach with turtles. However, the villa has seen its best days and would need renovation and a better cleaning service. Although the staff is extremely nice and helpful, the cleanliness deficiencies have not been addressed. Dirty covers and linens on all outdoor sofas and by the pool. There is mold and dirty mosquito nets in the rooms. We asked to change the bed linen because it smelled. The villa actually has only two double rooms, the third room for six people is unusable for a stay, it is a small unventilated room with three bunk beds. Breakfast is prepared by the staff directly in the villa, with a choice of three options. Overall rating: good accommodation with a great location, but for the price we expected more cleanliness.

Near and clean and the views were amazing. Location was outstanding as the beach was directly in front of villa. We loved snorkeling just in front of the villa. Loved having a pool to relax in.

Location was amazing and the Style of accommodation really suited our family travelling group. Our hosts were also amazing and super helpful and we were close to so many things. Was wonderful snorkelling right out the front.

Nothing - it is the perfect property for the style of holiday we were after and for the location.

The property is in a perfect location straight across the street from the beach where there is beautiful snorkeling with coral and sea turtles. We loved the private pool and the staff. We also organised a private snorkel trip through the property which was a great way to explore the Gili islands

We loved absolutely everything about the property. The only thing I could recommend as an improvement would be to have some extra blankets available as there were only sheets on the bed.

Our host met us by the ferry and guided us to the villa; easy, nice, convenient. Beautiful place, best location I have ever experienced. Bedrooms upstairs wow, outdoor area wow

Downstairs bedroom could use an upgrade. It is a bit dark
