Villa Margherita

The pool and the very big toilet.

No washing machine and hard access for grab drivers.

I like the place. It was actually better than our first villa so this was an upgrade for us. It was well taken care of and was huge for a family of 3. Clean and huge bathroom. Good location. The caretaker will respond to you if you have any concerns.

The doors are hard to lock. No microwave to heat/warm up left overs. The shower is outside, but it was a nice touch for interior. But we decided to use the bathtub instead. Overall, our stay was comfortable.

Good restaurants nearby. Very spacious. Nice pool. Friendly check in staff that were helpful during our stay

A tap came off in my hand as I was turning it off. It was clear that the fittings were corroded and that was the root cause. However the owner tried to change us for the tap coming off. The owner did however retract that statement afterwards but it did leave a bitter taste with no apology. The local staff were very helpful at the time.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Margherita! The huge villa was all to ourselves was amazing, and the private pool was beautiful, clean, long, and perfect for relaxing. The caretaker, Sinta, was incredibly helpful, kind, polite, and highly enthusiastic. She took great care of the villa and made our stay even more enjoyable with her friendly chats.

The only suggestion we have is to replace the commode (toilet bowl) in both the bathrooms as it is a bit old, and moldy and needs an upgrade. Additionally the Gazebo

Sitha who met us and cleaned daily was super friendly and helpful Location is great and house is very clean Rooms and bathrooms are massive. Sitha was super accommodating to our slightly early arrival. Pool area is great but could with some outdoor dining table and chairs perhaps?

Kitchen is very very basically stocked. Not even a chopping board. A toaster would also be great at breakfast. Some slight TLC is needed in areas. Loose kitchen tap, tiles coming off in pool. TV not straight. Small touches but does not effect your stay. The one mattress was the worst I have ever laid on. Springs jump out everywhere. Landed up sleeping with my child. The AC also is very loud (like a gale force wind) and needs servicing as not very functional.

The pool was great. Huge bedrooms and bathrooms. The things wrong with this place are minimal. We will definitely be back. Love the hot or cold water dispenser. Very quiet, local dogs bark but not an issue. Value + for the money. Sintra the lady who greets you and cleans is lovely. Gojek to grocery store only a couple of dollars.

Would be great to have lamps in bedrooms, a microwave would be good in kitchen. You need to make sure you have your own coffee etc and toiletries.
