Villa Donna Elisa Sorrento

Location, location, location. Close to the plaza with out any noise or cab ride required. Everything was walkable. The grounds are beautiful, the citrus trees, the landscaping, your own private paradise. The views are beyond!! Views from the terrace, views from the balcony, views from the bedrooms. The villa was very clean and had everything we needed.

I wish the hosts were a bit more responsive near the end of our 5 day stay. My last 2 messages to them remain unread on What's App so I hope they are OK. One was asking for a restaurant recommendation because the first recommendation she gave us became our favorite restaurant (Storico8) of the trip. The second was about our super early check out. It was not like them to not respond.

Beautiful grounds and location! Our hosts were wonderful. They helped us learn our way around and were available when we needed anything. We will stay here again.

The location was perfect walking distance to all that we needed. And the view over the bay was spectacular.

The villa is spectacular - in a central location but, once you close the gate, in its own private oasis with wonderful gardens and glorious views over the Bay of Naples. We were only sad to leave!

There really isn't any downside, as far as we could see. Well: the mosquitos were biting, but that could happen anywhere... And not all the electrical sockets seemed to match up with our EU travel plugs.... but that might have been us! And it wasn't an issue overall.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with my reservation at Villa Donna Elisa Sorrento, booked through Booking.com. Despite having reserved and fully paid for my stay a month in advance, upon arrival, I was informed that the villa was overbooked and my accommodation could not be provided. This news came as a shock, especially since I received no prior communication regarding the issue. The alternative accommodation offered was significantly inferior in terms of view and amenities, which was unacceptable given the price paid and the importance of this family holiday. As a result, I was forced to find last-minute lodging, which was not only more expensive but also did not meet our holiday expectations. I would strongly advise against booking this property to avoid the possibility of such a distressing experience. The management’s failure to handle the overbooking situation professionally has led to significant inconvenience and additional costs for my family and me.
