It was beautiful

The place was warm, homely, welcoming, spacious and the views were breathtaking. This home was extremely well resourded and we needed only our personal items and food. The hosts treated as like royalty and provided unparalled hospitality. We loved every minute of being there.

I would not change anything about the house and liked it as is.

There were 6 of us including a 3 and 5 year old. The house is large and roomy and the kids had a wonderful time riding up and down the verandah and passage on the little plastic cars provided. Wonderful big verandah with great views and a braai and a very welcome fireplace inside. Very well equipped with everything you need in kitchen and even games for the little ones. The road up is a bit rough but was fine in our Rav4. Eugene will meet you with his twincab bakkie if needs be. All in all a lovely weekend with warm comfy beds as it was very cold.

The light switches are getting a bit old so are a bit dicky but that was hardly a huge problem.

Well, what was not to like, Oom Eugene and Tannie Suzette made us feel so at home second to none!!! Firstly, the house has such great space but also so incredibly homely. Sadly it rained quite a bit so we could not go explore the surrounding or go for hikes in the mountains, but the house was so comfy we did not feel as if though we miss out. When the WiFi was troubling Eugene fetched me and I sat in there place as it I was part of the family to catch up on my work - but the key was in how they did it. Nothing seemed like to much. Absolutely loved it.
