Mountain Haven Villa

Location was excellent. Last part of road a bit rough but no problem for SUV's. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Everything was good. There was nothing to complain about.

Everything! The house is secluded, really big and spacious. The property is beautiful and green with a big swimming pool.

The view and quietness was really relaxing. I enjoyed the walks as well.

Amazingly nice place, well furnished and fitted. 7km from the road that you will need a higher clearance car for. Home made bread and a bottle of wine left by the hosts were very welcome

I would have preferred to have known it was off the electrical grid from the main description. The owner starting the generator each morning was a help to kick start the systems The gas water heater needs power before it will ignite, so unless you save the night before you won't get an early shower

The host Eugene is an absolute stunning guy, so humble and friendly and ever so helpful. He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we need. He goes over and beyond to make his guests' stay memorable. Will absolutely go back there again!

The property was exceptional. Wonderful views and the swimming pool was great. There was emergency ligths for when the power went out. The house is completely off the grid and you do not have loadshedding, however due to the solar energy, if you use too much during the evening, you will not have water for the toilets the next morning. I would easily go and stay here for two weeks and just relax. You have everything you need.

I think you should be warned that the road up to the house is not made for a car. You have to have an SUV or 4 x 4 vehicle. The entrance into the swimming pool is a bit tricky especially for older people.

Everything was amazing from the host to the beautiful house. The rooms were beautiful as in the pictures we really enjoyed spending our ladies getaway at this amazing location. Eugene and Suzette were the most amazing hosts I have ever met. On arrival there were the most delicious loaf of fresh olive bread and a good bottle of wine. We had problems with the road but Eugene really came through for us when he picked us up when we stuck and took us back to our transport when we left. We will definitely be back.
