Villa Barong

Seperate rooms as we travelled as friends not a couple. A few cafes nearby. Pool was nice and we were allowed to use the jacuzzi and larger pool next door as the other villa was not occupied. Staff were very attentive and good to us. The gate locked and we called Putu at 7:30pm and he came back to unlock it for us. Putu also drove us to the city centre one night as there are no taxis in Candidassa. Putu is very helpful.

A little far from the main city centre to walk in the rain and there are no taxis in Candidassa. The rooms are small and quite basic unlike other villas we’ve stayed in for the same cost.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Barong. Puttu and Nengah were so helpful throughout the whole week that we stayed there. Puttu picked us up from the airport and we also hired him for a day and a half to go to Sidemen and Virgin Beach. The villa is in a nice peaceful area of Candidasa with plenty of warungs, shops and spas within short walking distance. The other villa was not occupied during our stay so we were able to use both pools which was really great. My partner worked from home from the villa and the wifi internet was fast and reliable. The kitchen was well equipped with a coffee machine, smoothie blender and unlimited drinking water. Highly recommend! Terima kasih Puttu and Nengah!

The villa was a bit dated and could use a bit of an update. Small things like the sliding doors didn't fully close so bugs were able to come in at night could be fixed/improved but overall we had a great stay and definitely felt like it was value for money!

The villas were amazing .. very clean and the grounds were beautiful. The staff were amazing and so eager to help in any way. The location was perfect and central to everything .

No privacy with other villa only barely screened by some foliage and clearly visible from the main entry.

Nice location, quiet area and easy access to facilities ( atm, shop, bali dance event, restaurant, spa). The hosts were very friendly and the service were great. The villa was clean, the garden and pool were relaxing. Good eggs and juice choices for breakfast.

Villa is not private, you literally share it with other people and you can see other people on the property. You can hear everything that happens in another room or at other Villa pool, can’t sleep because of that. The blankets only cover half of my body and I have to use two blankets, on my complaint the owner responded that they don’t have other blankets. Rooms are not super clean, shower is stained at the bottom, towels smell.

Loved the pool, the garden, and the location. Staff were extremely nice and friendly too.
