Amazing house, spotless and greatly located

Spacious home with lots of little extras like snacks, juice and shampoo. Great to have a few bits and pieces to keep you going after a long day of travelling. The house was clean and well maintained.

Had a minor issue with getting the key code in time for our agreed arrival. Couldn't easily contact anyone and had to wait in the car with tired children.

We booked this villa to visit family and it was a beautiful house. Very quiet and cozy. Will definitely book again. Had amazing stay.

Mattresses in 3 bedrooms are worst.

This house has great potential- it is a lovely size and we liked the location just on the outskirts of Inverness.  It has private parking and a decent sized enclosed garden area. The beds were comfy enough and the shower is a good size. The hosts were also responsive to messages in a timely manner. Nice to have tea, coffee, cartons of milk, crisps and biscuits provided on arrival.

Unfortunately for us there were a few things that impacted on the enjoyment of our stay: - the house is not ideal for taking toddlers-  the back decking is very slippery and unsafe and sadly previous guests never picked up their dog mess on a  few areas of the grass (although very good that the hosts accept pets-....this somehow needs better monitored). The grass also had  a couple of holes that present hazard. - my toddler found an old used vape behind the sofa along with a few other things. -kitchen is scarcely equipped.  -house would benefit from a deep clean -scared to use some bits of furniture as doors were faulty/bits missing  - Also key code entry had to be chased up as this was not provided on day of entry. (In reponse to your feedback comment - we are in no way "competitors" as you accuse. No one mentioned snow- the issue was a built up on the wooden decking- as shown in picture. Sorry if it is not clear but holes in garden (as shown on pic) can result in small feet slipping in and getting caught!! As for the dirt and items left by others- i would expect a thorough clean to avoid this. Providing key code on arrival is not ideal - with a toddler with us how long would you expect us to wait outside for a reply? Yes we saw the CCTV. ....Sorry if you do not agreen with the review but it is our experience and evidence provided).

The welcome pack was much appreciated.

Since we are from out of the country, we didn’t know how the heat could be turned down or the appliances turn on until our last day. A list of instructions would be helpful for things like that.
