Willa , Cosy house in Inverness

We weren’t given the key code to access the property. As we had travelled to Inverness for my partners cremation, after a very brief illness, which you can appreciate was stressful enough to find out that we couldn’t get in the house at 21.30 which an added stress that we really didn’t need. We had to contact booking.com to get the code and an hour later we did, finally, get into the house.

The property was clean and central. There was plenty space and alot of facilities that was useless.

The only real complaint I have was that 3 of the 4 beds were not very comfortable.

Great house for our short family stay for a wedding on way to Caithness and the host Izabella very helpful in navigating a last minute issue due to poor advertising by booking.com re this property having 2 double beds in one room and with sofa beds being sofas. resulted in confusion close to arrival. House max occupancy therefore 5 in terms of beds albeit additional cost paid to accommodate 7 + dog.

Nothing really. Maybe another bathroom would make it perfect.

The house was large and reasonably priced.

The ad is inaccurate and lacks many of the listed amenities. When I asked the owner about this, the response was that they didn't care that their ad was inaccurate. The house is very dark, and the neighborhood isn't the best. More than anything, though, it's the lies in the listing and the place being in subpar condition. The kitchen has a severe lack of dishes and cooking tools. All the pans are in horrible shape. Every knife is dull and chipped. It's clear this was thrown together with some junk and is not looked after. The game room was an empty shed with a ratty old chair. When I asked about the pool table, the response was that it was removed due to noise, and we had to be quiet by 10 pm. Not a great experience.

The location, the facilities, cleanliness, everything was perfect! If you’re looking for a calm, countryside feel in the highlands, then this is an ideal property.

The location was good and the bathroom was very good

The beds were too low to the ground and my husband had to sleep on the couch as he couldn’t get himself up off the beds. Both Wheely bins were full and we kept hearing the back gate open at night and we think neighbours were using the bins as they were both chockers.

Very clean, comfortable beds, nice towels.

Location requires a car. Not much in the immediate area, so you need to drive.
