Our stay at Baanboo Loo Village was truly exceptional, largely because of the people who run it. I have travelled extensively—visiting over 40 countries, taking around 200 flights, and staying in countless hotels—and I can honestly say I have never experienced hospitality quite like this. The hosts are simply outstanding. They go above and beyond in every possible way to ensure you are comfortable, and their level of care is genuinely one of a kind. What makes this place even more special is its origin—it was originally built as a family home to welcome and entertain guests, and over time it has grown into a place where they open that same home to travellers. From the moment you arrive, you are treated like family. There is a warmth and sincerity that is very rare to find. During my stay, I became unwell with an upset stomach, and they were incredibly attentive, offering to look after me and making sure I was okay throughout. That level of care and kindness left a lasting impression. These are, without question, some of the most wonderful and accommodating people I have ever met. I even left a gift for the garden.

Wow wow wow. What a magical place where I had the honour to stay. I have been fortunate enough to stay in some of the best hotels in the world but this was so very special. The first moment we walked in I was lost for words. The property is so meticulously designed. It’s straight out of an interior design/architecture magazine. I could spend months looking at every single detail. But the staff were another thing. It’s a family run business and when we were there the warmth and love shown by all made it feel like a home away from home. Gorgeous smiles and incredibly helpful. The breakfast was a fantastic spread of very healthy fresh and organic ingredients. The owners pride themselves on sourcing ingredients from local farmers to provide the support and you can tell as the food tastes incredibly fresh with a ton of flavour. We were lucky enough to have the cooking class which was so much fun, we couldn’t stop laughing, learnt a lot about tha cuisine and had a fantastic meal which was joined by the family. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know. Thank you to the family for having us. We welcome you with open arms in London!

This was one of the most beautiful stays I’ve ever experienced, the place quite literally takes your breath away from the moment you arrive. The craftsmanship and design are exceptional, with every detail thoughtfully curated. What makes it even more special is the warmth of the family, who made us feel instantly welcome. We were greeted with fresh fruit and drinks, which immediately helped us unwind. Aunya welcomed us personally and shared the story behind the property built by her brother and thoughtfully designed with the help of a close artistic friend. She also took the time to walk us through local recommendations, from attractions and tours to great places to eat, and even arranged a driver for the excursions we were interested in. Every direction you look is stunning, and the experience is elevated by thoughtful touches like the endless selection of teas available at any time. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, an incredible spread of freshly prepared Thai dishes made by the family. Everything was delicious, and I found myself looking forward to the next morning’s meal as soon as one ended. It was especially meaningful knowing the ingredients were locally sourced and prepared with a focus on health and wellbeing. The location is also ideal, situated in a highly accessible part of the Old City, with restaurants and shops just a short walk away. Overall, the stay was deeply relaxing and peaceful, it truly felt like a home away from home. We felt so well cared for throughout our time there. Two nights was simply not enough, and I’m already looking forward to returning. Don’t hesitate to book, trust the reviews. This was one of the best places we have stayed in the whole of Thailand. The hosts are a wonderful family who are the kindest most helpful people we have encountered on our travels. They even upgraded us to a double room which was decorated beautifully. The whole village is stunning you could sit within it and look at it for hours. We loved every second of our time here. Thank you all so much!

The most beautiful charming unique Thai guest house you will find . Aunya and her family are the kindest most hospitable people you will find . On her day off Aunya got wind I was struggling to organise something and she called me and sorted my problem out in minutes. The artifacts around the home are stunning . The setting is stunning as are the rooms . Fabulous breakfasts cooked lovingly by her brother. Nothing is too much for this family . Highly recommend having dinner at their home which ends with a surprise ! I miss this family already ….

the jungle and wood feel to the property is great. Whole architecture is mesmerising, and the hosts arr super nice to talk to. Loved staying and spending time here.

Almost everything was good, just need to keep the door closed in the evening hours so that littles insects that get attracted to light donot come in.

Not your typical hotel or bed and breakfast. The Architecture is old Thailand meets jungle tree house. The attention to detail, lighting and comfort was amazing. We arrived on the overnight sleeper train from Bangkok at 8:00 am. We were immediately invited to join breakfast. They checked us in while we eating and presented our room to us immediately following a wonderful breakfast. Aunya sat down with us and helped us plan our day. Great care taken.
