"Gorgeous cottage in the heart of Dullstroom"

Gorgeous cottage in the heart of Dullstroom, beautifully decorated. The fireplaces were a win on a very cold weekend. Perfectly located to walk to restaurants and shops. The kitchen is very well equipped. This was our 2nd visit to Tarry Stone, we love the ducks, beautiful gardens, fairy lights and the peaceful surroundings.

The parking bays are too small for two cars.

Super central to the town, right next door to breakfast/coffee/restaurant. Love staying here and wont stay anywhere else in Dullstroom.

The one circuit where all the plugs run would trip if we used both the heaters + microwave/kettle. Not a deal breaker just required a bit of micromanagement.

"A great stay and visit to Dullstroom. This accomodation is quite lovely."

The accommodation was spacious and beautifully decorated. The gardens were very well maintained and there were sweet ducks roaming the gardens. Staff are friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the fireplaces and small heater in the bathroom. There are top quality shampoos and soaps in the bathrooms for quests to use. We enjoyed the heated blankets and warm blankets which were needed as it is cold in Dullstroom during winter. Very nice stove in the kitchen. The rusks and coffee pods were an added bonus.

The bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs, we found this quite inconvenient. The A frame window in the bedroom allows cold air in and made the bedroom very cold. This could be sealed better.
